  1. Trying over the years to replace this and that for better and I challenge anyone to have a better one of these than me he says modestly . Got all the FOUR arrow decals, no broken screw holes, I have the screw covers, have back lit it nice and blue and done the little arrow in red all to match my red and blue interior colour scheme :cool3:.
  2. Mine is similar, rises up then drops, rises up then drops, it's a constant loop !! I would like it rock solid at say 750 but it is not unduly concerning me :cool3:.
  3. Finally got the boost solenoid this morning and having cut down some bolts all is now bolted and plumbed in :cool3: Sure this is how it should be on the clocks but someone please confirm, ignition on and the needle sets itself at zero, start the engine and I get vacuum at about -5, sorned so only tested on the drive but with a good meaty rev it does move slightly towards zero, then turn off and the needle rests at -7 . Looks like I no longer need to explain why my Turbo doesn't have a boost gauge on the dash . One more thing what is the box underneath?
  4. I like the way you teased us until post 3 !! Car park police will not like the way you've taken up two spaces :mad2:.
  5. A leader that makes decisions for the good of their country.....refreshing to see, sure Cameron will take note :whistling:. Why would anyone take offence Nicci, like you've put if you're not happy in the country you're in get up and go, I'd leave England, if we lived in a muslim country I am damn sure they wont bend over backwards to help us like we do over here, I just can't get my head round that at all :mad2:.
  6. I have read yes but way too far for me to come, or else I would of been all over this :cool3:.
  7. Congratulations my friend, looking forward to seeing you both again :cool3:.
  8. All these use the same interior handles, so get yourself searching ebay as they do pop up from time to time, hardly ever advertised as 300ZX handles though as far as I am aware they were never fitted.. Personally I paid £18.00 for the pair delivered and that was a best offer, bet no one can beat that !! NISSAN Terrano FORD Maverick NISSAN 300ZX Occasionally a member sells some but these can sell for £40.00 all day :cool3:.
  9. I mentioned in post 3 that I had some chrome handles to fit and today whilst my door card is off being re trimmed I did the job and what a simple job it is. Unscrew the one bolt, slide it all to the side and pull away from the frame, bottom lever just pull up and out, top lever uses the plastic to lock, one of the easiest of Z jobs .
  10. You mean they are not illuminated.....suppose just to make you happy I could put an EL sheet behind the SLICKTOP :smartass:.
  11. These cars are Z's not ZZ's :hammer:. Here's mine, Titanium, key for steering wheel lock key, alarm fob, immobilizer pear drop, Z key ring and SLICKTOP keyring bespoke made by TwinTurboRich :cool3:.
  12. Loving that and the writing looks so factory and not written on at all :whistling:.
  13. A hidden switch and it lights up, what's not to like there :cool3:. Bit cheesy though and no guys NOT for me, new stock knob going on mine :thumbup1:.
  14. Yeah....it really sounds like you mean that !! 4th for me :cool3: You swine Daz for mentioning and posting......funny though I even laugh at myself . Sooooo so cold at night, hard to believe really when the days were scorchio, as Rolandas says we can all snuggle down with his girlfriend this year which I think is club spirit at it's very best :tt2: Good onya lad - can I book the Saturday please......just 10mins will do me to.....ah ermm.....get warm shall we say !!
  15. It's you that's just woke up as the word in red should be one that describes you very well :winkiss:.
  16. Oh......you stopped another week then on your own :confused1:.
  17. I will try and replicate your set up Lee on the bench and see if I get the same thing happening :cool3:.
  18. The one nearest the camera is the top/fog and you can see the leds sit right up to the lens as the board is clearly proud and just to secure I put just a few blobs of hot glue here and there, I did put some black tape around to stop bleed but I removed this to photo. This is the chamber that the black plastic needs removing, it will not fit under or in otherwise. The reverse pcb does fit flush or better and the leds sit slightly away from the panel lens, this board needs less securing. The OEM bulb chambers are not used. The leds are alll visible when off and are certainly all visible when on.
  19. Yes it can be a PITA to get feeds through into the doors, great work but I like my little card vents :cool3:.
  20. Another thought I've had ;) would a piece of diffuser paper help matters ?
  21. Just read that thread of yours again and it looks like it give me the idea but as I said way back about strips inside not fitting so I was already experimenting, so you only get half credit !! Also, it was a year ago so yours as certainly took some planning .
  22. Nice work Lee :cool3:. This was my set up at just a year ago, I don't have this no more as I am always trying different things. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?157693-Illuminated-Reverse-Panel-Incorporating-3rd-4th-Brake-Light&highlight=brake+light+reverse+panel
  23. Why is there a difference between the white light and the red Rich, I do know the camera does lie but you've used the same type of 'bulbs' I believe ?
  24. Without you putting 'spoiler' in this post, they wouldn't of know where to put it :death:.
