1. Agree with the top red with the two bulbs but I think the lower chamber struggles to be lit with just the one indicator bulb :confused1:. With the led's fitted the chambers are jammed packed full of light :cool3:.
2. Happy Birthday - hope your day as been a good one :cool3:.
3. Been working on these for a while now and I have now completed them and fit back on the car. I have sold over the last couple of months a few sets of led 99 spec copies but on these my own genuine units I have crammed in even more led's. 54 smd lights are for the tail or sidelights, 72 led's are used for the brakes and 78 amber led's are lit when you indicate, these figures are per side, again the tails do look much much better in the flesh and modern up the Z a bit more. The first 2.23 mins of the video with a little walk around is in the daylight, then 30mins in the fading light and then the final minute is when it was completely dark :cool3:. 4. Fear not Richard my led 99 spec tails are now all done and on the car - camcorder is being charged as I type and will put it to use tomorrow once it is dark :cool3:. They are very very nice by the way .
5. Yep, lots of possibilities :cool3:.
6. Finally getting round this weekend to completing the job of led'ing my 99 tails and I have amended my lead post as I have discovered that there is a plastic insert that the lines are on so please view the pic below, I don't know how I missed it before and have never seen anyone anywhere showing or even stating that this the case :cool3:. I guess not many take them apart worldwide :smartass:. I didn't want to disturb it, as it was pretty well stuck down so I just lifted a corner to show.
7. I've had this a couple of times, once it was really really cold and the other time it was after a period of inactivity, I'd start it up and I know I should be getting some warm air after 5 mins of driving but was not getting any at all, the engine temp would go beyond what it should settle at so I am just starting to think about turning off then suddenly I get warm air and the engine temp returns to normal ? My thermostat was changed way less than 5,000 miles ago and am sure I've had enough anti freeze in :confused1:.
8. Some nice bits 'hidden' away in your garage there John. When I decide to put mine back on the road I too will be sauntering down to visit you again :cool3:.
9. Only a mile and half, use the tram tracks lad, isn't that what they they're for, bit like a DeLorean :cool3:.
10. Happy Birthday.....have a good day Jane .
11. What you tryin to say.......I'm a fat lad :whistling:. Not having a go, just stating that it's very often I read that it's the drains that contribute to a lot of electrical issues members have, seems it needs addressing very early on in a new targa Z's ownership :cool3:.
12. Eck these targa topped Z's do cause a lot of problems, hope you get it sorted bud :detective:.
13. Yes please, I'll pm you my address .
14. Nice Rich, good to see :cool3:. My pods are lit red, blue, red, etc, why not instead of all white alternate with a coloured one to match the EL clocks a touch better?, or is that just me that likes that, haha.
15. Lights are on the bumper, hidden and shining down onto the tail pipes - I like to think it's subtle :cool3:.
16. I wonder if X pipe is where it kind of meets in the centre under the car and comes out at the rear at an angle like mine does rather than in a much straighter fashion, anyway might have that completely wrong. Like this? NOTE : Exhaust clamps not yet fitted on pic !! Undersealed by Mr. Lee Dent. Here's a vid of the sound of mine - I do not know what type Alunox it is :cool3:.
17. Oh yeah good call, some sort of side exit modification required then :tongue_smilie:.
18. Nice to see a few shouts for Alunox, I always feel a bit of a lone voice and the same with my HSD coilovers. This is mine, sorry there is no shed to show it's scale but it's pretty much the length of the car :whistling:.
19. You secretly want a silver Z again. You have a longing desire for Bruce which is worrying . I have tried to get dreams back but it just doesn't work :mad2:.
20. I know what you mean - I'll look around for something better .
21. Like this, I tracked down one with arrows on as well.......do you think there might be something wrong with me . NOT FOR SALE :cool3:.
22. It does yes, when depressed you cannot operate the passenger window at all, not even on the drivers side. I have a red led shoved right up at the back - of course I am immune to any brightness :whistling:. Certainly not !! Getting hold of one of these with all the little arrows is damn near impossible from a breaker - I aint letting this baby go :cool3:.
23. These are my spares, valet key, etc. My butt plug is made by Samco.......so there .
24. Mine does pretty much that :mad2:. I cannot see your needle....still, haha :offtopic:. You can keep fancy led bulbs for the four needle illuminating bulbs, good old fashioned T10 amber filament ones work best I find :cool3:. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-Amber-T10-501-W5W-Side-Indicator-Repaeter-Bulbs-UK-/360387092407?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item53e8be9fb7
25. We're all still waiting on that 2015 calendar :surrender:.
