Richie's "Redzer" rebuild
Getting Veilside Wheels split and fully refurbed by a local polisher who does loads of sets of splits for VWs etc. I am sourcing lips through JDM distro who I believe get them from California. Cost is all down to what you want done and how much work is involved. Lips for example are about £180 each, bolts can be about £150.

Richie's "Redzer" rebuild
Looking good!! As soon as the admin guys reinstate my member status I will put up a pic of my centres for you. Mine are being split ready to get wider lips fitted and a full polish at the same time. I need them to fill my rear arches so they will be circa 13" wide with 6" lips.. The guy I use could polish the back of your centres if you want him to.

Too sell or not sell???
I can only echo the sentiments of everyone else and urge him not to sell. My Z has been off the road for a number of years due fob I'll health, having kids and a house restoration project. On countless occasions I thought about just selling up and moving on but ultimately I decided to hold on to it. My Z has only this morning arrived back from Jimmer who has worked his magic sorting all the mechanical bits that had been messed up in the past. The bodywork is getting seen to over the next couple of weeks along with sorting out the wheels and interior. It is now exciting again as a project and I am glad I did not walk away from it. Your husband would probably look back at this in the future, if he decides to sell, and wonder what if I had kept going? The time it takes doesn't really matter if it is a project and a distraction that is enjoyable. Once I have mine up and running again I am looking forward to meeting up with fellow Z owners and being involved with the community that is here on the forum. I have been a member of this forum for years and although I don't post much I enjoy reading about everyone's builds. You are obviously very supportive of him and I am sure between you, you can finish the job!

9.5 x 18" +10 offset on Front?
+10 was the plan! Lost out on a +22 set.

9.5 x 18" +10 offset on Front?
Thanks, I thought it may have been just a bit too big but having lost out on a set which were 9x18" + 22 this is the next best I could find that has a set of rears that will work. Looks like I will get these and hope that it is just a little bit of arch liner work as you say. Cheers

9.5 x 18" +10 offset on Front?
What would be required, or is it not possible, to get this size of wheel to fit up front? Having been reading old posts. A 9 x 18" +22 looks to be perfect and I know that this would make the wheel sit 19mm further out than that, so wondering if it can be done without running silly camber? Could the arches be rolled to accommodate or would it be more drastic bodywork mods?

Z resurrection and new alloy offset advice needed
Found some old posts and looks like the rears 10x18" with a -33 offset is pretty close to the original OZ Futura 10x17" -31mm offset. Should also keep the tyre costs down a bit. Fronts though are where I really need advice. What is everyone else with either 9 or 9.5" x 18" fronts running in terms of offset?

Driver side rear light full of water
I had an LED conversion done on my rear lights many years ago by one of the then members on here that subsequently disappeared leaving some unhappy customers, me being one of them. My driver side rear light is full of water and I wondered if there are any current members who are good at LED lights or do these conversions now and who can look at this for me? Otherwise I will need to look at sourcing some new rear lights.

Z resurrection and new alloy offset advice needed
Hi all, I've not been on the forum for quite a long time and the Z has been just sitting for a few years. A full house renovation and 2 kids later I am going to now get the Z back on the road. Having sat for so long the tyres will all be knackered so I want to get a new set of alloys which will also do away with the current 60mm spacers on the rear. The car has a wide arch kit. I have seen some sets of Work equips with the following sizes/offsets but I need some help in understanding if they will let me do away with the spacers and fit ok? Rears 12x18" offset +22. Or 10x18" offset -33 Fronts 9x18" offset +22 or +35 Or 9.5x18" offset +27 Any advice on what would work best or if none are suitable!!!

My Z, Autoresto Zedwizz and help required!
I have decided to try to sort out the mess that is my Zed! For the last year or so it has been parked up due to my work commitments and also finances and my general annoyance with it. Parts have ended up all over the place and garages and traders have let me down but were happy to charge for the privilege! I sent one of my rear lights which had fogged up after Zedwizz (Autoresto) had carried out a led conversion back to him to be fixed and have never received it back. Is anyone still in contact with him? I have googled only to find out that the company has been dissolved. The garage I used in Glasgow has rapidly deteriorated and since fitting the 2.5" inter cooler pipe kit incorrectly and agreeing to fix there poor workmanship they have been laying off staff and are refusing to do anything about my. Don't know whether I am allowed to name and shame the garage to stop any other Z owners from being stung? They have it ted the standard pipe work back on to where the recirc valves and air filters should mount onto and now the new pipe work has gone missing! I need to move the Z from where it currently is and this will have to be on the back of a trailer. It is so close to being finished but I need to get it to someone that knows what they are doing, wont charge the earth, and can get it finished properly. I have been stung so many times with this and need help.

2.5 inch intercooler piping ?
Ruishy, Not been around for a while but my Z has the full Ash-spec 2.5" intercooler piping set and Massive intercoolers. It has not been on the road this year due to me being very busy and the garage not fitting part of the kit where the recirc valves need to be plumbed in properly. I only found this thread as i am heading round this afternoon to see what needs to be done to get it back up and running and was doing a google for some pictures/instructions! If you want to see a set that is fitted feel free to give me a call 07775591043. I am based in Glasgow.
