I used it when I was on dial up. Was really annoying because the delays were very noticable. I just had a 5 quid mic from PC World and used the laptop speakers. Havent tried it on pornband though!

I had a similar noise Bud. Much to my relief, I found it to be the heat shield near the tub. £5 its fixed with 2 jubilee clips. Hope yours is as simple as that!
