  3. Yip ! The last few pages were all about you doing your best to give the club freedom by getting banned !
  4. I agree with you on that Ian, theres some cracker of acer laptops out there that have stood there time of abuse. The whole Acer is a low end brand goes back to routes as a company as they were competing against the likes of Dell, Compaq and IBM. But they have come a long way in the last ten years. Its like Skoda; when i was at school many years ago, we had loads of jokes about how bad they were but now its all turned arround and likely only our generation will even know any of the jokes like : What do you call a Skoda with a twin exhaust and sunroof ? - A wheel Barrow or What do you call a Skod at the top of a hill ? - A bloody miracle Point is times change but many still have the perception its still a low end brand.
  5. Seems a reasonable lappy to do exactly that daz. Everything is good for the average person who's doing a wee bit of work, browsing these wonderful forums and the odd porn site too !
  6. If you give Gary Wilson a PM with your details now he will sort you out.
  7. No - where did you read this ?
  8. Is the drive self powered or does it use an external power source ? In the case of small 2.5" drives they can be powered directly from the usb cable but the pc might not be providing suitable power.
  9. Nope, I was down checking it out earlier, and it's just not firing on all cylinders. Def an electrical fault somewhere but it's beyond my experience to diagnose it.
  10. Not that old, But i still remember what must have been repeats in the early 80's.

  14. Hi guys, Some good news on the legal front of the clubs banner at the top left. When we relaunched the site i used a part of a drawing thats a schematic of a zed which looks cool. I've managed to get in contact with the owner of the art work and have officially been given permision to use the art work. And i liked the artwork myself so much i've actually purchased a copy for myself which i'm planning to frame. http://www.kaiartintl.com/nissan_300zx_twin_turbo_drawing Heres the art work i used to create the above header of the site And below is the correspondence email received when i asked permision. Hello Mr. Young, Shin received your mail for permission to use his artwork. He agreed it. May I ask if you received the email regarding permission to use the drawing as part of our new website? Regards Lee Young ---- From: "Lee Young" Date: 11 July 2012 09:53:28 GMT+01:00 To: Cc: "'Lee Young'" Subject: 300zx drawing Hi, My name is Lee Young and I currently maintain the website 300zx.co.uk which is a Nissan 300zx owners club in the UK. Recently we done a redesign of our main website and used a picture found on google as part of the header. It has now became apparent that the picture rights belong to you so I’m writing to get permission of use. The picture itself is less than 300 pixels wide and contains only a corner of your original drawing but I Thought that we should officially get permission for it. I really enjoy your work and today I’ve ordered one of your prints under my personal email account. If you can please check out our new website and please approve of the use of the picture. Regards Lee Young IT and Support for 300zx.co.uk

  16. Just a thought, When the time comes and the future of bttf is now or will be in the past does the film title still make sense. As the future will now be in the past it will be back to the future of the past if you know what I mean.

  23. Hi all, I have just performed an emergency upgrade of the forum software as a security flaw was discovered recently that could have potentially allowed un authorised access to our systems. This as you guessed was unscheduled and un announced but it was to the benefit of the clubs security. I here fore would like to apologise to our member base if you were accessing the forums after 11:30am and had issues. This upgrade has brought us fully up to date with vbulletins latest release. Thanks again. JaiKai
  24. Happy Birthday buddy:thumbup1:
