  1. Shipped by DPD today so unless they do a Saturday delivery it likely will be Monday. Tracking links don't work yet so will know likely by tonight or in the morning a true eta.
  2. Wheels have been shipped !
  3. For me this year I'm unsure, as my new project may or may not be complete.
  4. I can easily setup a mailing list with reminders but I did try this once before and it pissed a lot of people off. Although we can do it again with an opt in this time :)
  5. As much as the club has the funds to buy into many big events if we did so all in one year there would be nothing left. Over the last three years if anything we have increased our presence and advertisements for the club. When I joined the club back in 2009 and then proceeded on my first road trip of over 700 miles round trip to JAE and since then I haven't missed a JAE event yet, with or without my zed I was there to support in any way I could. Back then we had two fairly worn out national banners and a blue pvc banner, and the current website was running on software that was really outdated and full of security issues and bugs. Shortly after joining the committee I solely took on the task to migrate everything to a more modern solution, the design was completely redone and we followed suit with new national banners and gave every region there own banner. The upgrade to keep this forum and your information save from being an information target also cost us. Our first separate event to celebrate the 25th anniversary was organised fully by Lexx which done an amazing job, the turn out for that event was higher than any jae event we've had and if we could guarantee those numbers then it would have become a club annual meet and likely the new place for the AGM. Two years ago we hosted the our first NEC show which was also a massive success, my own zed was under rebuild at this time but I still joined the club and was on the stand for the full event. we also had Simon, Joely and Roobarb attending the event, and no more than 3 other committee members showed face to support the club. Last years event we were aiming a lot higher and had a plot big enough for 4 zeds, unfortunately on route my own zed was involved in a collision and I had to return home feeling like I badly let my club down - even though we all know my zed was a total loss. This year we have a few major events coming up and i'm sure the club will be attending as much as we can but we need the full support of the members, no matter if you are just registered, are fully subscribed or are a fully paid Trader. If you know of an event in your area then make your say and prompt your REO to organise something for that region. National events take more effort to organise and at the moment being short of an NEO limits our abilities to personal commitments. The committee is always trying to advance this club as much as we can but we are against social media formats and as a relatively small club the funds available to use will shortly run aground and downgrades of functionality may happen - but don't worry we have enough funds for the next few years as long as we are wise to the spending. My last words would be if you support the events and actually attend then we can increase our overall profile. Go 300zx.co.uk and GO to the events of 2016 :)
  6. Just heard that Alan Rickman has died, this is turning out to be a bugger of a year. RIP buddy.
  7. fingers crossed and if he gets it then we might just have two fellow zeds in it. think my boss will be looking for about £75 - £100 rental a month per car but he's planning in kitting it out with a 4 poster too.
  8. Couldn't honestly tell you as the zed that it was fitted too was written off less than a few weeks after I fitted it.
  9. Click this link http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Greddy-Profec-B-Spec-II-Electronic-Boost-Controller-Black-NEW-turbo-limitter-/252225928682?nav=SEARCH Offer the guy 150 and 90% chance he will accept, delivery takes a few days. It's a genuine model. Few folks on here can vouch for it including myself.
  10. Shame about the cost increase and I wasn't too impressed with the new plot we had either. Hopefully we can swap out our plot for a more up market area.
  11. What's your budget as you could get a cracker of a zed for just over 5k from gazwoz that wouldn't need anything done.
  12. Think so. You can see two large heaters above the doors.
  13. My new boss is into his classic motors like me and recently approached me about storage in the area. I believe he has in the region of 5 classic cars that he is shipping up north so he is in the market for a warehouse / workshop so after having a wee look about my area I found this : He's got a viewing shortly and hopefully if he goes for it I'll have a new unit to start work on the new build. He also has a 4 poster that can be installed so way hey ! :)
  14. Will always be remembered, this was my favourite track : [video=youtube_share;E_8IXx4tsus]https://youtu.be/E_8IXx4tsus
  15. lol, Just edited your post as my reply. OOPS.
  16. Updated your thread and had to chop a few pics back in forth so I can fit it all in :) Good news is we have pics now.
  17. Bump for Si, as I expected him to be the first to comment rather than last :)
  18. It is, hopefully a bit of luck it wont be in real life :pinch:
  19. Oh yeh !! Its a month wait until they arrive so hopefully it will just be on time for the rebuild.
  20. Unless the sunroof is in the petrol tank as that's a fuel pump relay.
  21. can you jack it up and move the car to get access to the passenger door ?
  22. more than welcome to it. Will have to be a weekend as that the only time I can be onsite with it.
  23. yeh, Damaged beyond repair i'm led to believe.
  24. Bump, That's us got three official banners in rotation. If you are a registered trader then get in touch, if you can't make one yourself then we can work something out. Cheers
