mine drips on the leading edge of the window, the rubber looks fine and actually does squash against the window but the rain some how still gets in. I think there is a way of adjusting the runner so it pulls the window in more towards the A pillar rubber but haven't actually got around to having a look, but it does it on both

totally agree, trying to look good giving mine some boost only for the dreaded goose honk from my recirc valves to start, its very loud lol

yeah im just talking to him now, it was just a quick photo shoot to see what the wheels looked like on his car in the studio before they fitted them for the above photo on the RX8 above. he wasnt bothered about the exhausts lol which is fair enough though from looking at the photo shoot of his white N/A he didnt bother cleaning up the engine bay on that before it went lol

Zed belongs to edgar ferman, same guy who had his white zed photo'ed by speedhunters (the white N/A with the vailside rear spoiler) It was a test fit of his mates wheels that were going on his rx8.

from what i remember about installing my passenger electric into my zed, there is only one live and one earth.

seems a bit of confusion going on here, First of all, either do as jeff said, you have already undone the bolts that hold the gearbox to the engine so id be extremely careful of lowering the sub frame. The torque converter bolts are accessible from the rear drive plate (would be the fly wheel) with nut head facing towards the radiator, undo the 4 bolts holding the torque converter on and the engine should come away from it. other wise you will have to bolt the gearbox back onto the engine and lift the gearbox out with it.

You say you have removed the gearbox bolts, have you actually removed the gearbox from the engine or are you trying to lift it with the gearbox still married up to the engine? as that will stop it coming out. the engine is only really held in place by the 2 engine mounts and the gearbox. but you do need to seperate the gearbox from the engine as you will have the clutch housing in the way, or if its a auto the torque converter.

im with lynbrook im paying 340 a year (it went up £10 this year lol) thats with all mods declaired as well, though limited to 8k miles a year which to be honest ive never done even though i drive it daily.

The thread served its purpose, it wasn't a slagging match for if you liked zed world or not, it wasn't a lynch thread either. it was asking for peoples input to vijays specific dealings with a garage, jeff didnt hide and actually worked to resolved the matter, the situation was resolved the thread got closed. Unlike other threads or forums, we let it run, it wasn't slanderous as no names were mentioned, Jeff highlighted it was his garage (im not going to deny that had jeff not replied some people would of worked it out) but jeff showed willing to resolve the issue at hand. call us heavy handed moderators all you wish. we actually left it open long enough for people to air there views on vijays situation as for waiting to close it with eagerness, we monitor every thread on the same level, the only difference is this one was one of a unhappy customer and a business, Any new zed owner can see that jeff resolved the issues so i can not see how anyone can portray this to be damaging. i would still take my zed to zed-world if i didn't do my own work and actually still might for a few things. To say you are losing freedom of speech is actually laughable, if that was the case this thread would be closed and deleted by now. Sometimes i feel people are more intent on trying to stir the pot rather than actually see that we left it open until a happy resolution was made. I have been on plenty of car forums, ive seen people banned for just asking why people are banned on other sites, ive seen people banned for post asking why posts were closed, here we enjoy peace full banter, going off topic to a degree and a non arsey attitude from us mods who actually work our arses off behind the scenes so you lot can enjoy a nice friendly atmosphere, not many ban are handed out, threads are not closed each and everyday. we have an atmosphere that other forums can only dream of having, and we don't have a member base where the older guys think they can basically verbally abuse new members just because they asked a question that was already asked 4000 times. If you want to carry on the discussion in this thread, by all means embrace that freedom of speech you think is being hampered. But be-warned, if it does deteriorate into a slagging contest / witch hunt it will be moderated just like any other thread and either cleaned up or closed. come on we are all adults here and we like you to enjoy the freedom this site offers over others.
