  1. No bud, the clutch fork is moving, the pivot ball is present, i spoke to Jeff and he advised me to check the movement of the piston and also to see if the ball was still there, you can clearly see the ball attached to its stalk from out side the gearbox through the hole that the clutch fork goes through. its defo moving when the clutch pedal is pressed as well, though it might not be moving enough.
  2. But why would it be working fine one moment and then get a bit stiff last night, then no gears at all today? surely if there was air in the system it wouldnt move the clutch slave cylinder? Oh just for added information, its the clutch slave cylinder, connected to the master by a braided clutch hose, if i take the cap off the master, the fluid is right at the top, when i fitted it, it was just below the MAX mark.
  3. yes, it has new bushes, and all sorts, its just not going into gear, you can hear the engine revs slow down if you try to force it, so i cant see why the quick shift would make a difference, its not engaging the syncro's from the feel of it.
  4. right so clutch slave cylinder is moving, pivot ball is not snapped as i can clearly see it when the dust boot is removed, yet can not get the gear box to go into any gear, no 1st / 2nd 3rd, 4th 5th, or even reverse? So much for going manual to solve my gear box problems. clutch pedal feels normal, what else could it be, ive been driving it like a grandad since it went on so as well, so its not like the box has had extra stress or anything. clutch master has fluid in as well and with the clutch slave cylinder moving, i cant see why it wont now go into gear.
  5. shit fit and most other garage I've been too, now use silicone sealant, ive also used it with good success for joining exhausts with out them blowing.
  6. if its the one that runs from the PAS pot, to under the car to the lower subframe, its a pain in the arse lol, if its that one let me know, ive done that change on both a N/A and a TT. (N/A was easier lol)
  7. was the first thing i checked, also stuck some axel grease on it for good messure and worked it in an wiped the excess off. it was well lubed up after that :)
  8. thats a photoshop of my engine bay, he just changed the colours
  9. the clunking isnt normal, it happens when i break as well, never had a zed that clunks like it does, i took the car to get the front tyre replaced when it had a bulge on the side and even the garage noticed the clunk and advised me something want right. the steering hasn't been touched since ive had the car, ive topped it up once, thats about it. the fluid level is fine and not going down or anything. ive phoned zedworld for a new steering rack, as i still think thats the cause. when steering it feels like something is catching on it and trying to stop it from moving, like it has some resistance but only in odd places, not all the time, but through the cycle of the turn, hard to explain. really need someone to drive the car to understand what im on about lol
  10. Air in tyres, check UV on steering shaft, check PS sensor on rack? why would that make a clunking noise? something is not right and its doing my head in, also today was faced with having to shove stick to get it into gear, it wasnt grinding or anything, just really stiff to get into gear - all gears, ive checked for obstructions but nothing is in the way. doubt the two are related though as i had this problem with the steering when i had a auto as well.
  11. fecking thing, worked fine for a bit after my last post about having lumpy steering, now its gone back to being lumpy again, as i said last time symptoms are basically, fluid in the PAS pot, so not an issue, PAS pot working fine and not making any strange sounds so think thats ruled that out. when dry steering from full lock to full lock im getting a clunking sound at the end of the movement, noticed some thing else as well, the car wont straighten its self out any more. another words say you are coming around a corner and as the road strengthens you loosen your grip on the wheel to let the car align on its own, well it no longer does that, it will hold what ever angle is on the wheel. So my diagnostics are either, the steering rack, or the steering column
  12. Can the steering rack be changed from under the car?
  13. damn it, so fitting a after market front mount intercooler fecks up nissans intake design lol
  14. i just take one of my kids and park in the child bays, loads of room either side of the car then, but the look on peoples faces when you pull into one while in the zed, had 4 women tell me i cant park it there, then the look on their faces when i get my little one out of the back is priceless Was just glad when my friends neighbor reversed into me it didn't do much damage, just cracked the paint on the rear bumper a bit, he did give me some cash though for the repair which wasn't too bad as it needs to go into the body shop anyway lol
  15. i use brick pattern wall paper, they then think the wheels have already been nicked and leave it alone
  16. Having one of those days where every one has it in for my car, first a kid almost runs into the front of it on her bike as she doesnt look while crossing into my lane on the road, then my mates neighbor reverses into the rear of my car, then some numbnuts almost takes the front end off my car coming out of his drive in reverse, the i get some idiot in tesco's car park almost reverse into me, then feck me if coming up queensway, some woman just trundles her car straight out in front of me at a junction. so glad the car is home, seems no one can drive today. i was even driving like a grandad due to how people are being out there. didn't want to hit any or anyone hit me faster than 20mph. Its bloody ridiculous out there.
  17. what boost controller is it and have you got the COM and NO ports connected correctly. Ive got my OEM boost solenoids on and connected, adds a bit of safety as they can still put the car into safety boost if something is wrong.
  18. twice ive booked with parcels2go, both times with different couriers, both times they never showed for collection, then when it was rebooked the first time around i waited in all day, and they never even knocked the door, they must of just stuck the "we missed you" card through and legged it, and trust me if they had knocked i would of heard it, hell i can hear next doors door being knocked. so had to rebook it again, by that point it was the weekend and had to wait for monday. so much for next day delivery. on the second occasion, again no show on the day its was booked in for pick up, i then emailed them and explained, they rebooked it in, and again no show, i rebooked it in, but then it was the weekend again and had to wait for the following monday. Sorry bud, ive had none of these issues with paisly freight and would much rather pay a bit more to get less hassle, every time i take a day off work to wait for a parcel to be picked up, IM loosing money not them, so im never going to use them again. Paisley freight use the same couriers and they have always shown on the day its been booked in for pick up, so as far as i can see, its a parcels2go thing not the courier. I wont be using them anymore, but if others want to thats up to them.
  19. was it something i said that gave it away?
  20. one of the cheapest? parcels2go, one of the most reliable is definitely NOT parcels2go one of the best is paisly freight, and definitely much more reliable than parcels2go.
  21. There are actually no performance advantage regardless as BOV's are not a performance enhancing part. Ive got mine plumbed in where my old recircs were, i put Dump to atmos on due to annoying goose honk, one thing i have noticed though, since adding them every now and then my engine cuts out when breaking if i have my foot on the clutch, its only been like this since i changed to dump to atmos valves.
  22. am i the only one who finds the F40, bloody ugly? though im not a fan of Ferrari's anyway lol
  23. a woman with massive cahoona's in a top not flashing anything is perfectly fine. its when you are seeing nips and things its a bit of a no no.
  24. oh ffs, just get it done lad, as long as its not showing nout
