  1. You you got a click noise and then no power? check the battery terminals are on and getting a good connection, i get this sometimes ive my negative cable isnt done up correctly.
  2. Could be the fuel pressure regulator letting the petrol back into the tank when its been standing a while, id change that first as they are relatively cheap compared to what it could be, which is a leaky injector. What colour smoke is it in start? as valve stem seals can leak, causing blueish smoke on start up. especially if it then clears.
  3. this sounds awesome, best keep us petrol heads updated with this one, love the GT-R, would defiantly own one if i ever got the chance.
  4. i understand fully what you just said, boiled nuts or not Jap.slapper i love ya (but not in a doo you up the bum kinda way) just made me laugh reading that, even though it had some bloody good points. Funny thing is, we have been accused of being over moderating, something i actually laugh at given the fact there are forums out there a hell of a lot stricter than here. i still think ebay is the way with transactions over £100, and im sure there might be a way of offering the part to a specific person, to keep it with in ebay. Regardless of the rules of ebay, there is one thing that people cant say, at least there is away of sorting things out through them if shit hits the fan. (well to a better degree than here) and yes, we are also sick of the stupid bickering and attempted point scoring that seems to be going on recently.
  5. HAHAHA, i remember that, think i might have to as well, see if we can get daz in on it too. best go shave me man fluff lol
  6. yep, or from there paypal, depends how you want to do it matey.
  7. the search engine doesnt like your name, ill let jaikai know, might be something in the search engine its self doing it.
  8. damn it lol, i was watching "how do they do that" on discovery science, they just showed how they build a F1 car, damn that engine is small lol
  9. You not coming? why? we might have disagreements on here, but i never take it personal lol *cough* ignore above *cough*
  10. Yes i know, it was also my first time organising something like that for the club and for over 30 people, considering i only had 3 people complaining out of 36, i take it as not too bad. This year will be bigger and better, last year was a very big learning curve. i know kim did a fantastic job, i have no doubt about that. things still ran rather smoothly last year, even if i was running around like a blue ass fly, you also have to remember i also pay for my own ticket for the event. so almost all of that ticket price was for the benefit of our members more than my self.
  11. i do everything by recorded mate, at least i know its defiantly arrived then, still even when i have posted first class recorded i got accused of stealing something when the damn thing had been signed for. so always always do recorded as a matter of course. Another person id like to say thanks for, is actually ZX-TT, he let me have the gearbox before payment. top man, and no i haven't had an issue with him, big Jim is another, rev1richie is another. there are a few others who have helped me with free parts here and there. (sorry i haven't named you, but would need to check PM's)
  12. Yowser, search Auto Box with the space lol
  13. i might have to have a search now lol
  14. gotta find new ways to keep people on their toes lol
  15. if its still the same after then, then at least we can rule out the loom as a possibility, which should make things easier. Make sure you clean all connectors on the items you are plugging the loom into.
  16. i agree with Baz, always nice doing business with him, also JeffTT as well, i do not use his garage services, but his parts department (when i phone, not via the forum) has always been very pleasant, ok jeff is a business but still. Though gotta be careful with this post, as being a mod i might come across as self congratulatory lol
  17. give you 50p, those wings ive got on me car, and half a mars bar for it.
  18. Ive got a 2+2 with rear strut brace, not sure on the make, but i still have the interior panels fitted too.
  19. you need to remove the ECU's if you remove the passenger seat as well so you can basically lay down and look up, you should see the panel is accessible even with the dash in place. as with anything on the 300zx, its tight but doable lol
  20. to be honest, considering this isnt about someone selling goods and doing a runner, this is something you need to sort out with the seller, the club gets involved when people disappear with large sums of cash and no parts have changed hands and even then we have limited powers of what we can actually do. we can not force someone to give a refund regardless if we know them or not. that is solely down to the seller. From your post it clearly shows that the parts are in transit on their way to you, so not really sure what you expect us to do, yes you no longer have the cash, i understand that, but he no longer has the parts either as they are on there way to you.
  21. Cant be much higher than that id imagine. Personally easier option, anything over £100, stick it on ebay, and stick the ebay add up in here, that covers everyone then.
  22. are you good with a volt metre, if you are you could always check the continuity of the wiring loom, though that might take a while. But first get the PTU off, check the connectors for corrosion. Engine loom is relatively easy to change, just need to remove the ecu's and a plate that stops the loom from exiting out of the fire wall, then its a case of unplugging it from the engine and plugging the new one in, even if it doesnt fix the problem, you would have fresh connectors on everything, so would eliminate a major headache.
  23. Ignition circuit fault, check the PTU connectors. either that or the CAS / coilpack connectors. But i would lay my bet on the PTU connectors. as for the other issues of fuel, are you sure the injectors are firing, you could need a new wiring loom if the old ECU heated up, it might of melted the engine loom at some point creating a short. Oh and welcome to best 300zx z32 forum in the UK
  24. If you have come on here to try and upset the feathers, id suggest you nip it in the bud. seems like a widely used tactic recently between certain people.
