Just had to change my starter motor as it decided to pack up on me today. On a plus side, i now have 2 RPS clutch housings, one on my car currently the other off the car waiting on my clutch change. (although no need to change it now lol)

Drove it to Mcdonalds then to tescos to do some shopping then drove it back home, then sat in it and wished i could change the frigging clutch sometime this week lol

Well ordered a slot in battery and charger from the US, shipped via UPS, headed over here, where it was picked up by yodel, the package arrived with a nice tire print running across it and this was the state of the battery. Charger wasnt much good either as both Pins for the socket were bent to hell. That arrived yesterday.

F40 is horrible mate, one ugly looking car, certainly not a fan. Italia 458 is another one that doesn't appeal to me, im a lambo fan, only Ferrari that i loved was the 208 GTO and GTB, the last Ferrari that i "liked" was the enzo. Though the new lambo isnt doing it for me either, rear looks good but the front is like they let Lupo design it.

Doesnt take that long, and for the cost of a engine rebuild if it slices through the cambelt and bends your valves. id say its worth the extra time and effort. may as well change cambelt, water pump and pulleys while there, depending how long its been since they were done.

As its a no fault claim, go through your own insurance, they will give you the correct valuation rather than going through his, its also a lot quicker, your insurance will then recover the costs from his. thats what i did with mine as the other guys insurance on mine wanted to repair it back to standard rather than it being written off, even though my insurance covered me for my body kit.

Check wiring on the rear of the unit, make sure its the same as your old unit you have removed. Id also run a better earth from the unit to the earth point behind the dash where the unit sits. also what is the model number as they are all different.

Dont see a problem my self, i have a Sony Xperia P, Samsung galaxy S2, iphone 4, iphone 3gs, and a Ipad, i find the Ipad the easiest to use on the web as the screen size, much easier when at work taking the ipad with me with a better option than dragging around a laptop and the battery life is actually astonishingly good. Oh but when at home ill use my PC, which is set up so i can watch TV and use it at the same time lol

Wouldnt worry too much, the car is not classed as over heating until temps reach 105, then the electric fan should kick in, nissan service manual says 115, but to me thats way too high. My after market gauge reads correctly with its original temp sensor (one that came with it) but was way off when i put it on the one already in place before i swapped it out.

But id have to sell all 4 lol

me i used 2 trolly jacks, jack both of them up but it needs 2 hands to keep the box steady, once its lined up, slide it forward using the jack wheels, soon as its mated, get that bad boy home. I know you say you used a clutch alignment tool but are you certain its aligned? as that will give you loads of headaches if its slightly out.

Yep, but most people dont do forums, so they fail to realise things like that. at least the jobs sorted now, shes going to be happy.
