you should of gone to spec savers lol Best thing about that 8 series? you don't look like every one else with a BMW. and do indicators come as optional extras on them? very rare i see a BMW driver use the bloody things, either that or the old problem i used to have was them screaming up my arse on a motor way and expect me to move out of the way when i was over taking, while sitting that close they may as well been taking the screws off my number plate. Get a merc or Janes SWB. or even a saab? I'm a bit partial to the Saab 9-3 convertible to be honest. looks very sexy with the roof down.

Wont rev past 4K
depends what mods you have, if your going for power, then a induction kit would be the better option, just fabricate something that covers the air and moisture hitting it as the air comes in from the front bumper. you dont want it too obstructive as you still need the air to help cool the rad. but what you want to do is make sure your air filter isnt just sitting out in the open in the air vents of the bumper.

ive got one on my breaker, has two square filters in a V shape that sits under the nose panel. air comes in from the bottom left and right of the boxes, and gets sucked up by the maf at the bottom sections of the V shape.

way to many BMW's on the road to be honest, but if you want to go for a BMW, at least get something classy like a 840

New auxilary belts
squeaky belt tends to be a loose belt. just make sure you don't over tighten the one going to the water pump as this can lead to it failing, and you will have to remove all the belts again to refit a new one. with tightness, i go by if i can twist the belt in between pulleys. if it twists half way and wont go any further, then its tight enough.

Battery drain found.
i had the same problem, which was also causing havoc with my alarm, if you put a LED bulb in, if its set to anything other than light when door opens, setting the LED would stay lit up very dimly. i take it yours like mine is wired to the alarm?

What car next?
I'm sure if you go on the skyline club there are a lot of people on there with problems. the thing with using a forum as a reliability checker is that people mainly post about problems with their cars. not how good its been and how they haven't had to do much to it recently. so bad indication to be honest, not only that, these cars are now pushing 20 years young, so things are bound to be on the way out. as much as i love skylines. id still pick a good zed over one. they just look so much better and have more of a presence on the road than a skyline. sure you get a look when in one. but not half as much as when your in a Zed in the summer with the roof off. I agree with the RX7 comments. nice car but drinks a lot of fuel with the rotary engine. Have you thought about the mitsubishi GTO?

tt engine into a n/a car
just use the wiring from your TT and you will be fine. may as well do a hicas elimination as well while you are there. just remember as yours is a auto, you will need to change the pilot bushing in the crank at the flywheel end. just take your time, catalog everything you took off, put them in bags with a bit of paper saying where it came from, take loads of pictures and go slow. and if you get stuck just post a thread up we are always here to help matey

How do i remove cat from my l reg supra
Problem is, in this country a cat isn't worth it to the local fuzz or brigade. i know it sounds heartless, but if you hit a cat you are under no obligation to stop, yet if it is a dog on the other hand, its a offence to drive away with out checking to make sure the dog is ok and not harmed.

How do i remove cat from my l reg supra
if it wasn't for the fact i have my kids tonight and the Mrs is out, id pop down and take the exhaust off for you.
-
How do i remove cat from my l reg supra
i can see your going to be cutting that exhaust up, first port of call though would be to take it off the car. then try and get it out. no point trying to coax a cat out of the exhaust if its only intent on going one way up the pipe. Once you get it out, get some mesh over the end of the pipe work. seen this on Skylines to stop animals getting in there.

How do i remove cat from my l reg supra
if your going to start it with the cat in the exhaust. at least video it. one of 3 things is going to happen, your going to shoot the cat out the back, kill it with the fumes, or bake it while killing it with the fumes.

tt engine into a n/a car
if you have all the parts, id go for it, the shell is the same, its just going to be fun when you come to sorting out the inter cooler pipe work.

doesn't look like a cruise one, though i could be wrong, thought cruise was flat, and didn't have a socket like a O2 sensor
