i had the same filter on mine, and never experianced the symptoms you discribe, id check the MAF socket or the maf its self. as already stated the filter isnt wet is it? mine used to sit very low into the "mouth" of my 99spec front opening, and even in wet weather it didnt cut out or anything, though i did keep my distance from the car infront. Only time my car stalled was coming off the throttle in winter time, but then take your foot off the clutch and the car would start again? that was about it.

day light? lol unless you have pitch black curtains to draw, bloody useless. but once you darken that room, its cinema time :D Mackam, it would be 100", but i cant get the projector back that far in my living room, unless i have the screen in front of the curtains, then i could fill the whole wall :lol:

If you want it for movies, then 1080i is a must, and make sure its got HDMI input, use a separate sound system, preferably 5.1, unless your room allows for a 7.1 set up, make sure the seating area is central to the speakers and set them up properly, you want the fronts and rears at ear height, bass box is omnidirectional, so doesn't matter where you put it. When setting the surround sound up, sit in the seat your going to be listening from, and set it up from there, the center speaker will out put the talking and music mainly. For a projector though, 1080i, or 1080p, with good luminosity. also check how much a replacement lamp will be, as some can run into a few hundred quid for 2000 hours lamp life (around 80 odd days if its on full time) and make sure its a projector with good ventilation as the bulbs run really hot, and most bulb failures are due to over heating.

Sony vages isn't slow mate, that will be your PC, upgrade it you tight ass and if your only doing simple editing, stop worrying about the buttons, and too many buttons? most of it is drag and drop, and drag to resize, drag to transition, drag to set volume, in fact its pretty much drag to do anything, so straight forward even a Mikey bean could do it lol

Please note, that unless you have decent clearance, undoing the center bearing support bolts, will not allow the prop to come away completely from the gearbox, or you will scrape the center bearing along the floor and wont be able to get enough "bend" on the pipe (this doesn't work for one piece prop shafts or on autos lol)

Ok image quality isn't the greatest as it was taken with the iphone. finally finished my home cinema, with a HD 1080i projector and it looks effing amazing at night with a 82" screen, it will go bigger but i would need a longer distance between the projector and the wall its being projected onto. (42" plasma can just been seen at the bottom of the picture), image quality at that size is still bloody awesome due to the 1080i you out put to it. currently wired up to my PC But movies are awesome at that size at night. Now just need to get some darker curtains for daytime use and get my self a electric Projector screen, then happy days.

Well, as im now national events organizer, id like to get some of the large events organized for us as a club to go to next year. It will need the support of everyone for this to happen, as what happens at the moment, is we get a event advertised, people say they are going and then some pull out at the last min, some just don't turn up. and it ends up with just a small group of us there. After JAE and I've had the chance to settle in and meet people at JAE. it will be nice to organize some events and club meets to bring us all together before JAE, i know some cars are not available over the winter period, and some are off the road due to modifications or repairs. but would be nice if we started all grouping together every once in a while (other than JAE) to share our passion for the 300zx, and get us good numbers in the jap car scenes. this will only work if everyone helps it to work. Anyway, enough rambling from me, hope people agree to this and help me move it along in the direction id like it too, as i think it will be good for the club, good for everyone on here, and good for the 300zx.
