  1. yep it turned out really well. just like the time machines ram intake, really need to get a better tripod and hands free shutter release, get some stunning shots then.
  2. sorry for the blurry ones, i need to get a remote shutter release for when im using the tripod with no flash lol
  3. do this first, lot less hassle than wooping the gearbox off lol
  4. i dont think its bleeding thats your problem, i feel you need to remove the gearbox to find out what the issue is.
  5. im actually liking the camo look in the first photo. stealth zed......
  6. You dont know the half of it lol naa, i just crack on till its either fixed or f**ked lol only so much you can change before its a brand new car :) it was one of the 20 year old pipes matey from the looks of it, it had started to go some time ago but held on for a while longer till today, stoopid really should of changed all the hard to reach pipes when i had the chance when the engine was out. was just too busy focusing on getting the turbos on the engine at the time.
  7. temp going up would be it over heating, temp going down would be when the water emptied, 6 litres of water is just over what the rad holds, its a 10 ltre system or there abouts. so you had water in it, but it wasn't circulating. still might not be dead yet. just out of curiosity, why didn't you pull over when the temp started raising?
  8. clutch fork new? what about the clutch bearing, pivot ball? and clutch fork split pin?
  9. and his zed. Electroluminescent strips behind them, nice and thin and you can run the wires from the inverter and screw them into the bottom screws on the cluster bud.
  10. are you sure its the bleeding thats the problem and not a knacked friction disk? (clutch its self)
  11. with how ebay is mate, id see if anyone has a known working good one from a breaker on here first, if the one on ebay is already out of the car, you only have there word on it. You want to be able to test it first and see its all running before parting cash. get your self a block tester as well, only 41quid from UKtools, that will tell you if you have blown it as well. Do you have the tell tail sign of coolant mixed with oil? (like a tan type mayo) on your dip stick / oil filler cap / radiator? Doesn't happen all the time, especially if the HG has blown between cylinders. when did you notice the temperature?
  12. swap your clutch issue for my heating system one any day mate lol can you drive the car?
  13. by the looks of it, may have even been the cause of the over heating, it wasn't a small split and no doubt may have been letting air back into the system, it was the small pipe that bridges my turbo bypass with the heater matrix pipe. That's the 3rd pipe on my heating system thats failed now, and 2 of those were brand new. doubt it was weakened due to the cleaning process, more likely weakened due to overheating.
  14. just remember its not like brakes the pedal wont go hard, but what you want to do is have some one putting in the clutch fluid into the res and bleed the system till no more air comes out, then do the nipple up, thats it. if you have straight through pipe from res to slave, it should be easy as hell to bleed.
  15. took the car over mrs dads today, pulled on to his drive, and the temp started raising. so turned it off. fecking pipe at the back of the engine had split. is there anything with the cooling system on this car that isnt going to fecking fail? So one new pipe later and another bleed and refill, drove it back. really getting annoyed with this now.
  16. You did refill the coolant before trying to restart it yeah? you may be lucky in my search for my overheating problem, a few lads in aus300zx have had worse happen and everything has been OK, i suppose it really boils down to when you noticed. id refill the system check everything on the out side, make sure there's fuel in it and give it another go. Have you done a compression test?
  17. if you want the address to post a link, and its not showing in the address bar, just right click the name of the thread and select "copy shortcut" Like that, and then just right click and paste into the the thread you want.
  18. going to up load some of my pod pictures i aquired this year as well.
  19. its a cobra steering wheel in a mustang lol (its in america, not everything they do makes sence) this is eleanor interior from the film
  20. im loving the alice cooper signed hemi carburetter
  21. yes, but thats not eleanor, does look remarkably similar though on the out side, but its the interior that gives it away, the official eleanor has black dials for the speed o with 60 seconds in big red letters on it. also the side of the car as "official gone in 60 seconds eleanor" on it where the Shelby logo is on the side of the wing. though it could be looking at that photo, ill ask him, they put the dials in after the movie for show purposes
  22. may be me being paranoid but ill consider it sorted once ive driven it for a week with no heating issues lol
  23. Have you got all the metal work still and the bleed valve up in the engine bay? there is two if you have the OEM set up, one in the engine bay the other on the slave cylinder. why you are trying to bleed the clutch at the pedal is beyond me. You need to bleed the cylinder first then the top bleed in the bay.
