  5. I,ve not been myself Steve but i know a few who.s been , comes highly reccomended , only opened a few months ago but is busy all the time . I,ll pop in and ask , i,m not sure if they do take away as it,s quite a plush resturant . There might be others in Calverton , havn,t been there for a while . Thats a Countess , just about the first shoddy so called Countach lookalike on the market many years ago , beetle based so the floorpan was about 4 foot wide and the body shell is about 6 foot wide and not a lot to fasten the two together . Read a magazine feature about one of these saying they were just about the worst made kit car ever built , i,ve also got a photo of one i took at Newark kitcar show , this had an old Audi engine in it and was also a pile if 5hite :headvswal :headvswal

I really don,t know bud , IIRC yours has KYB shocks and lowered springs :confused: , mines got old saggy standard springs :headvswal Got to say it was a huuuuuge dilema as to which wheels to buy cos they suited mine soooo well ( only in 19s though ) In the end the cost of tyres won and i went for a different look with 18s :cry: :cry: BTW your car still looks the mutts bud :bow: :bow:

Welcome bud , 19s will fit without arch mods as long as there the right offset and not too wide , i,ve got 18s on mine 8.5 front and 9.5 rears , fronts are fine rears are a little too wide if i wanted to lower the car as they would catch the arch :smash: All have 35mm offset 114.3 pcd These are a set of 19s i borrowed , don,t know the width of these :headvswal These are the 18s i have now :dance:

  22. My second car was an A series 1.9sr , lovely looking old cars :dance: :dance: . Bought another a fair few years ago as a project to do the same as your neighbour , got the rover v8 and manual box , got loads of new panels and trim , did a fair bit of welding then lost interest in it , it sat on the back garden for a few years , doing bodywork as a job and then doing it in your spare time was getting a bit teadious , in the end it got scrapped when we moved house :headvswal Is the black one your neighbours v8 one ? cos i did see and drool over a black A series with a Rover in it at Santa Pod many years ago :bow: It was very rusty !!!! The engine which also was scrapped :smash:
