  5. Sad sad news , he was brilliant as trigger !! RIP
  6. A simple thing like overtightening the big blue connector block on the ecu can cause a host of problems including not starting , but if you,ve tried 3 different looms are you sure it,s not the ecu itself ?
  7. Bloody ell sounds like the kettles gonna get a hammering !! lol Be good to see you Nick
  8. They,re not a perfect fit , they have more of a curve in then than originals so the middle sits proud , i filled my lower panel to lose the obvious gap but i was restoring the car at the time so it was the easy solution for me .HTH Also the black colour of the plastic isn,t quite the same shade as the centre panel , all that said i really liked them !!
  9. Wotcha Vini , hope your well bud
  10. Done using a rear wiper motor a home made mount and a couple of micro switches
  11. I didn,t like a front plate so did this ... Can,t get the video to work !! arghhh
  12. I didn,t like it with a visible plate so i did this ....
  13. I fitted a motorbike one , if you can zoom in on the pic you can just make it out on the inside of the n/s chassis at the side of the rad , not saying this would work on most as i had a fair bit of room after decluttering the engins bay  It,s small but did the job ! and i am on about the tank :nono: lol
  14. Should just about be bomb proof when you finished with her Pete ! :punk:
  15. Me likey , wondered what you,d been tinkering with for the past few days !
  16. I made my own , aquired a pair of led ,s and fitted them from inside the mirror .
  17. Liking these as well , Within Temptation :thumbup1: And she just happens to be fit as well !!:tt1:
  18. I had to do that on mine but ended up using a carbide cutter in a drill as the dremel just wasn,t beefy enough and was taking forever , suprising how deep a notch you can put in the plenum without any worrys of going through . A good tip is to make a pipe up from a hoover and have that sucking the swarf up as you grinding , save alot of mess and possible contamination getting into the injector hole as you remove it . A good quality screwdriver for the injector screws and give it a good tap with a hammer , helps em crack lose ! HTH
  19. PLONKER !!
  20. Cheers bud , yes it is , brings back happy memories of doing mine up
  21. It was a bit of a last minute decision bud but thanks for the kind offer
  22. Well in a nutshell she,s done , been alot more involved than we originally thought but it,s still been an enjoyable job to do for us both , Cheers Bob for putting your trust in us and we hope your happy with what we,ve done  A few pics , Bob wanted a satin black roof so it,s also been done using a 2k satin laquer as normal satin paint would mark far to easily , the arches were also done . Some of you might spot that there,s no arch fitted on the n/s yet , we thought it would make sense to have a mould taken just in case a replacement arch is ever needed so it,s at a local fibreglass company being copied , it,ll be painted and fitted in a day or two :thumbup1:
  23. The kettle,s always on Nick
