  1. Cheers Steve , any excuse for a sunday dinner ! lol
  2. Hiya Vijay , a couple of reasons really , i was only using it as a second car , i only did a thousand miles in her last year and the cost of using it as a toy was getting a bit much ,it made sense to let someone else enjoy her , the final nail was i,ve took redundancy so i couldn,t justify keeping it as i need to concentrate on sorting myself a new career , i,ve worked on cars for 30 years and as much as i love modding and playing with cars i really fancy trying something new , but i,m not sure what ! lol Still might be starting a buisness yet , not too sure at the mo , ooh decisions decisions ! lol :thumbup1: Regards Allan
  3. It felt really strange to see my car being driven away today after 8 years of ownership :crying::crying: , looked and sounded bl00dy lovely though  I,ll let the new owner introduce himself if he wants to but needless to say i feel at ease that he,s going take good care of her as he,s a real zed enthusiast and it was a true pleasure to meet him . I,m still gonna pop on and see what,s going on in the world of Zeds as i,ve met so many nice people on here , your not getting rid of me that easy ! lol. Cheers for now .
  4. Just knock up a little splash shield to sit over the top of them to direct any water getting through away from the filters , i did this with an Apexi and it worked perfectly .HTH

  19. Have you tried having someone hold the head of a sledge hammer against the rear side of the hub whilst your trying to hammer the hicas joint out cos all the joints are rubber bushed and when your giving it some beans on the hicas joint with a hammer alot the shock load will be being absorbed by the rubber bushes instead of cracking the joint loose , having something heavy and solid against the rear should help transfer more shock load into the joint , i,ve used this method alot on varius suspension ball joint that don,t want to budge with great success .HTH
