  1. Mantav8 has but he hasn,t fitted em yet but should be very soon :ttiwwop:
  2. The guy in the model shop said there are only two differential bevel gear sets , ones nylon , the other are metal so you can,t really go wrong and its a piece of cake to do. The other thing i found was to use a 2Kw electric blow heater to heat the whole glass up rather than a heat gun and go around the glass bonding with a paint scraper, carefully prizing it up as you go Now wots next on my list of to do,s :headvswal
  3. Can,t get none of the coversion (its all buried) but i,ll ask Manta v8 to post some of the coloured coded bezels ,i have,nt got a digi camera and i would,nt know how to post em if i did DOH!! :slap:
  4. Just spent the weekend stripping and cleaning my headlights (that back inner bolts a bitch aint it !!! ) Fixed the adjusters using Tamiya model car differential gears , great link Dave zx , painted the inner bezels silver to match the car , looks the dogs dangleys and fitted a set of HID,s out of a CL 500 AMG MERC .We had one in for a front end repair which needed a pair of headlights, i knew these were hid,s well they ought to be at £700 each  Anyway out came the air saw , canabalised the lights and hey presto one complete hid kit :hyper: I cut off the bulb mounting off the back of the merc reflector, removed the ones off the Z , got the dremel out and opened the holes out a bit untill the merc ones fitted, a dollop of epoxy job done :D Just been out to set em up on a dark lane WOOOOOOOOW cannot believe the difference, the road was lit up like daylight :nana2: Anybody thinking about converting to hid,s DO IT you won,t regret it.

  10. I had a similar thing happen not long after i bought it , turned out to be a loose battery connection  Hope it turns out to be something as simple. :)

  12. My new rad !!! i can drive now and not wory about it going BANG :hyper:
  13. Clarksons new dvd, Hot metal obviously highlighted how good a zed was compared to old and NEW models  Do you think he might have done us all a favour ? hopefully making them a bit more sort after and keeping the values up. I bet theres a few people out there now who never really looked at a zed but after seeing this dvd i should think its raised a few eyebrows. :nana2: NICE ONE CLARKSON
  14. YEAH i know the feeling , mind you at least the traffic was light so i could have play in the zed

  18. Yes chris i totally agree, i wish they were in celcius , it would make life alot easier .
  19. Finally got the gauges working that were fitted in my car when i bought it  The guages are reading WATER TEMP 150-160 F OIL TEMP 190 F OIL PRESSURE 2000revs=50psi 4000revs=85-90psi and on cold start with new oil and filter 100plus psi My question being , does this sound about right , cars a jap tt with about 75000 miles I had a look in the search bit but most temps are quoted in celcius :slap: cheers Allan
  20. Nice job mate looks good , i was lucky mine already had genuine 99 spec lihgts already fitted when i bought it  By the way a good way of getting the sealer off is to peel a large lump of the sealer off, roll into a ball then using this just push it into the sealer on the light or rear panel and pull it off at a backwards angle , it sticks to it and pulls the remaining sealer off . Sounds a bit daft but it does work. :)
  21. When mine went i had one custom made by Serck,s . The core is at least twice as thick as a standard rad and its made out of brass, should outlast the car!!!. The cost was about £230 , good thing about them whilst making it they can solder in any bosses to take aftermarket temp guages.HTH
  22. As above , only saw a quick glimpse as it was coming other way in the dark, I think it had skirts , high level spoiler and big rims but wot i saw it looked sweeeet , Got a feeling i might have spotted the bling master !!! VINCE WAS IT YOU ?
  23. I,ve also been waiting for months
  24. Konrad did this car have a full SHARK bodykit and painted in a yukky red metalflake ?
