The guy in the yellow Z at blidworth had a full de-cat system made in stainless for £280!! at a place called Topgear at Doncaster , it was,nt the best quality system i,ve seen ,only had two centre boxes and none at the rear but it sounded really nice :bow:

Went to get a quote on a stainless cat back system from a local specialist after missing out on the one Noel was selling :headvswal Now dont get me wrong this guy does fantastic work but £800 for two pipes and two boxes :shock: :shock: .A bit steep me thinks , a Mongoose is looking more and more appealing :rofl:

It sounds like they baked it after painting rather than let it air dry , low bake ovens get very hot and this can cause fibreglass to soften slightly and cause rippling :headvswal Afew years back Mantav8 built a Cobra replica i spent months sorting the bodywork out , we had it sprayed and left to air dry , it looked the mutts, we went to a kit car show where the car was parked all day in the sun , a day or two later we notice a fair amount of rippling had appeared in the bodywork :headvswal :headvswal. Any body having their car sprayed who has a fair bit of fibreglass mods done i would always tell the body shop to let it air dry.Just done this with my own :hyper: :hyper:

I don,t know owt about the electronics but if its a Jap auto there is a little lever/button in front of the gear lever to move the gear shifter without the key in , just in case you need to move it .HTH :D

I made a panel out of MDF to replace the metal one and fitted 6 by 9 JBL,s, clears the window and sounds good . :)

I know people will cringe when they read this but my brakes were also crap and suffered from fade, i fitted Lucas standard pads , they are dusty but the improvement in braking was brilliant , i feel confident braking hard and as yet havn.t suffered any fade and all for £20 ! :dance:

It makes for an easy life pulling motorists rather than catching REAL criminals. :nono: :nono: They oughta try it one day, you never know the crime rate might actually fall :shock:
