  1. Yeah so iv,e heard :nelson: :slap:
  2. I sorted Manta v8.s out for him , i know he took some pics ,i,ll give him a nudge see if he,ll put em up for you. There not difficult to fit ,he trimmed as much excess glass off to give more room to blend with filler towards the rear glass keyed the tailgate and bonded it on using psykoflex (been using the stuff for years and still can,t spell it !! ) you could use gaffer tape to try and hold it as tight to the tailgate as poss or even a few screws (you,ll be filling over the hols left anyway) When dry sand the edge of the skin to taper it down a bit and key it ready for filling , tnen start blending it in , i usually sand the first few skims of filler with a D.A sander cos yuo,ll need to build it up before you can start shaping .Only tip to filling i can give is dont be scared to use coarse grades of sand paper ,using a sanding block i,d use 60 grit to first shape the filler then 80grit to finish the shaping 120grit to smooth the filler and 180grit to finish for priming . Happy sanding :D Allan
  3. The method we use (i,m a panelbeater) is to get a wide but slim bladed bolster chisel or anything similer , wrap it with masking tape , so as not to damage the paintwork, slip it between the door and wing and gentley lever the wing back into alighnment.Have to use this method when fitting non genuine wings cos most don,t fit correctley , this method works a treat on these :hyper: HTH Allan

  17. Just found out that LUCAS make front and rear discs for the 300 , don,t know what there like but there gear is fitted as standard on a lot of cars so they can,t be that bad, just fitted there front pads on mine (jap tt) seam to bite a bit better than what was on (don,t know what brand was on though)but £18.50 a set they,ll do me for now
  18. Its amazing how a class set of wheels really set a car off  VERY NICE
  19. my o2 sensors had been disconnected when i bought the car (did,nt know)when i realised had a consult done by Dave C , yep both knackered but funny thing is you cant tell, it runs sweet right through the rev range, i,ll get round to replacing them one day but knowing my luck it,ll run like a pig if i do. :headvswal :headvswal
  20. Was getting the same problem , i,ve got 99 front and an Apexi , only occured after fitting a twin vent nose panel , but i dont think the vent holes were the problem it was leaking between the nose panel and bumper while the car was parked up, it would drip straight on the filter :headvswal made a shield to protect the top of the filter , problem solved  BTW never had a problem of excess water getting into the filter when driving .
  21. Cheers Ryan , i,ll have a look at these. :duffer:
  22. Mine always has pressure behind it not vaccum, the question was asked on here and we were told pressurising is normal , its a easy way to tell whether you have a leak or not .   Now i am confused. :headvswal
  23. Sounds good to me , the missus mentioned this place as she knows alot of the pubs around there (not a drink problem ,its her job .Well thats wot she tells me :x: )
  24. Made a shield to stop water dripping on my Apexi , kept dying on me above 3000 revs when its been raining but never did it in the dry :headvswal so i,m hoping ive cured it  Oh yes did all the washing and vac-ing yesterday and most importantly went for a drive with the ROOFS OFF
  25. There,s been a lot of people praise these pads , my question is , are they a good upgrade on standard discs and callipers ? I,m needing to renew mine so i would rather get some ones that work better than standard ( as i found out approaching a island a bit quick !! nearly shat my pants  ) or can anybody reccomend others that they have used. thanx allan
