  1. Looking at the piccies you could file the holes on the catch to give you a bit more adjustment downwards but you say it seems to sit nicely on the headlight rubbers so i would be tempted to put some packer inbetween the nose panel and slam panel raising it slightly / Probably doing a combination of both should give you a acceptable bonnet gap .HTH  BTW Cracking paint job
  2. Anybody got a airfreshner for a civic for sale :x: :x: These little pr**ks only usually do that when theres at least four of em squeezed together in there CHAVTASTIC mota :xxx: :xxx: You did well to restrain yourself , think i,da slapped the tw*t

  9. yes its got an apexi , it was raining if thats what you was gonna ask but only lightly been in much heavier without a problem . Drove home tonight it seemed ok , manta v8 suggested it might be the afm on its way out. Wondered if anybody has had the same happen?
  10. You can get stonechip protector in spray cans but it does,nt give you the same heavy textured finish , to get that it has to be applied with a :Shultze : gun which is the same gun you apply underseal with, dont be tempted to use underseal cos when its painted it discolours the paint applied on top. Any good motor factor would have both in stock , the guns are quite cheap but you will need a compressor HTH.
  11. Driving home 2nite ,put my foot down about half throttle "ish" , boost started building and the engine died , imediately took my foot off and the engine ran  , tried it again -boost coming on strong ,engine died , took my foot off, ran lovely . Its running perfect under normal driving but not under boost :headvswal . Any ideas chaps, could the ptu starting to breakdown cause this? thanx allan
  12. They sound like JASMA , i think . Mine are like that. HTH
  13. This one looked standard , how do m8 , good to see someone else with a good taste in colours . Come down to one of the meets, BTW used to work with a guy with the same name as yours , your not a panelbeater R U ? :

  16. Luckily it does,nt affect the lights much , only very slightly on high beam , low beams no prob but i have got hid,s in
  17. Sounds like a good run out, count me in Ivan :hyper:
  18. I was gonna do the same but having painted the perspex trim i wanted to keep the line around the light panel matched up to the line around the trim . :hyper: Yours looks smoooooth maxsunny  Karl300zx the whole kits around £200 cheap as chips ,nice quality to. :D
  19. My original idea was to have all clear lights and use coloured bulbs , got some chomed ambers for the indicators also chrome on red stop and tail (fook me there pricey)luke also supplied some red stop and tails , anyway connected all the lights up in the workshop to try em out ,was they on or not ? could hardly tell :o The indicators ar,nt bad but better with just amber bulbs , sidelights were a joke only being 5w hardly any light reflectig out but better with the red ones(but not good enough) hence the red lenses for now, reverse lights up the street and ive used a red bulb for the fog using both fillaments lit up (should be alright for the MOT. I,m going to look into making the tail lamps light up using a ring of led,s and just have a red 21w in the centre for the brakelights so i can put the clear lenses back on . I,ll let you kmow if it works out. :headvswal :headvswal allan
  20. I first seen these on a jap website , thought they looked different so i had a go at moulding some out of fibreglass,my original idea was to make em as a add on panel so they could be easily removed but because of the tight gaps and the rubbers on the headlights i kept on cutting more and more off them to get them to fit , in the end i just glassed them to the nose panel and blended them in . I agree with wot you,ve said at some angles i like em and others i,m not quite sure but at least its easily removable, think i,ll get a few different nose panels and i can swop and change as the mood takes me  Oh well theres no harm in trying to be different

  23. I,m not sure of the spec on Vinces motor but he is running nitrous and its kicking out 530bhp   lucky git  Lady smallfry,s got nitrous i think.
  24. I went to the z centre and he had a set there that lukes currently developing, but he,s still working on them , he said that all pivot points will be bushed so they wo,nt go wobbly on you after alot of use like some on the market also its hopefully going to be a straight bolt on kit but i must say it looked a very well made and strong bit of kit. HTH
  25. Glad to hear your ok ,are your rear lights ok as ive got a spare pair , there only standard rears but your more than welcome to them if it helps get you back down the pod . :)
