Try giving some beans to the red line but shift manually 1st , 2nd and into drive , then you,ll really see what an auto can do , first time i did it in mine years ago i nearly shat my pants . IIRC the torque converter is locked when you do this so you get full power the the wheels on the gear change and by eck you can feel it !! :thumbup:

Sounds good to me , BTW You can,t use the small car park on the opposite side of the road now you just have to park where all the non Zed drivers park !! booo lol

Jeeez that,s scary , deffo would need to go on a jig to be measured at the very least to see if the chassis,s bent !! and don,t get me started on the welding !! lol

Well it turned out alright for us as we found out the road was un adopted so the councel has no right to put lines down ! :clap::clap::clap:

I have the twin set up and it works fine on mine , i,ve heard of a few that,s had running issues using this set up though

I needed to get rid of the old seam corrosion that a fair few of us have so i cut out the corroded steel and made up some new sections so while i was doing that i welded up any other visible seams and smoothed it all off .

I,ve tried to tidy things up a bit , de-seamed the inner wings , removed the Hicas , moved the fusebox and fuel filter and used a different power steering pot that looked better than a standard one and tarted the engine up a bit .

Oh and make sure the blue connector,s is sitting correctly in the ECU and don,t overtighten it , that can cause some strange problems !

It,s an easy enough job bud , i,d label all the connectors and photograph how and where the wiring runs around the engine and bay to give you some references when fitting the new one , at least if you compare the old labelled loom to the new loom you can see if there are any spare connectors that won,t be used as well as sussing out any that might be overlength , i,d then still mark the new loom with the corresponding marks as the old and your piccys should tell you how it goes back in .HTH

Well i worked with his plonker who went on and made a **** of himself He,s tried again this year with a different but still 5hit act , luckily for the rest of us he didn,t get through to the televised auditions !!

As far as i know the looms are interchangable , there,s a couple of wires that,ll need either shortening or just tucking out of the way due to being longer for LHD like the brake fluid sensor wire .
