Just found out to my surprise that there are 4 more ways of adjusting my drivers seat! I was just adjusting my seat forward a little and felt the switch had some play in it left and right, pushed it a little harder and found it has four way adjustment on each switch! This is extremely cool for me, as I could never see the top 1/3 of my dash ie. couldn't see the indicator lights, the top part of the speedo, all sorts! I thought how daft it was that the steering had no adjustment, now after playing around with it I feel like I'm in a bloody F1 car! My arse is on the road, I can see the dash (although I can't see the bonnet... lol) feels much better, and blow me if it doesn't feel faster as well, it's like the change in driving position gives a much better sense of speed and accelaration... Just thought I'd share this with you, even though it makes me sound like a moron... ha Reminds me of when I got the car and couldn't figure out how to use the boot blind, I was trying to clip it somewhere and couldn't find those catches... Feels like a new car now... excellent :D Wonder what I'll discover next?

Mine's got a handbrake that goes that far...

I've seen that one before, all those gauges make it look like the dashboard has bad acne... :nono: And I hope they put a gearknob on for the new owner! :eek: Other than that it's nice ;)

How old does a car have to be to be tax exempt? I was trying to figure out how old I'll be when I get free tax for the Zed lol

Where is this Vacuum pipe? I get the same thing but I thought it was normal... :smash: Shows how much I know lol, the exhausts seem to rattle, same as yours. I know it was definately quicker before, but never really bothered to look at fixing anything as I thought it was just normal noise...

Hi Oilman, I've got a 91 Twin turbo, the engine has started making a ticking sound from the top of the engine (really technical I know lol), and it's getting progressively worse. I'm worried I'm not using the right oil in there, it's got 54,000 miles on it. It doesn't seem to be using any oil, I haven't needed to top it up since I bought it in August. What oil do you recommend for my car please? Thanks. :)

I get this a lot, it sounds like one of those old fiestas... really annoying me at the moment... doesnt sound like a V6... more like a 1.1 popular lol So you reckon different oil could help? hmmm might be the reason it started, whats the best grade for these cold months... for a ticking engine? :headvswal

I browse this site and a couple of others during the day, so I spend all my other time either with my Wife, my brother and sister and family or my mates, so I've got it sussed. I go on the pc to play games with my mates Wednesday nights, and that's it. Works well for us. About a year ago it was bad, I was always on the bloody computer, it got so bad she left me over it. Looking back I can see how pathetic and sad it was, and I'm glad we sorted things out. There's a lot more to life then spending all night in front of a monitor... :wack: Now if I didn't have access to the 'net during the day... ;)

Oh man, I've just been reminded that's the day after my Wife's birthday do at Dukes... (I'm in the doghouse for forgetting now doh :rolleyes: ) I'll have to drink "in moderation" ;)

Nope, if I had that kind of money to spend on a car I'd use it on the Zed. Full bodykit, leather retrim, 19" wheels with top tyres, full fibreglass multimedia ICE install, interior kit, upgrades to lights, brakes, gearbox, clutch and suspension, and recondition the engine. Actually, I think I'd need a little more... :p

I know I wouldn't take one on from the lights that's for damn sure lol But put our cars up in a beauty contest and see what happens. It's all about what you want really. I prefer having a beautiful car that just happens to go like shit off a shovel when you want to overtake. The Pulsars/Evo's Scooby's of this world have one thing in mind, go as quick as they can and sod what they look like so it depends what's more important really. I know one thing, no matter how quick your motor is, there's always someone out there that's quicker, but I have yet to see a better looking car for 5k that blows 90% of anything that decides it want's to play away :p
