It's a no brainer really, I will NEVER drive over 30 in a built up area, the thought of hitting someone's innocent kid or anyone else for that matter turns my stomach. I even get people right up my backside (Taxi drivers, couriers or chavs etc.) wanting me to speed up, but I'll be damned if I'll let them piss me off and speed. As has been said in this topic loads of times, open roads with no other cars etc. ie. 3am on the M11 is completely different, it's your own life, you're responsible for it, but 5 mph in residential areas can make all the difference to someone surviving an accident, to you killing another human being. It's no way worth it in my opinion.

That's the one I got a quote for, but I mean a true five spoke, not split spoke. Like I say, if you like that style, it's a brilliant price. But I'm after something like this: or this or this These are the sort I mean, but I can't find them to fit the Zed for love nor money... :(

Then that IS strange... He said that only these ones were guaranteed to fit and the only ones they would sell. A good price still though, got a quote of £1,200 for a set of 4 x 8.5 18's with 235 on front, 265 on back, Uniroyal "V" tread pattern... I didn't go into the tyre speed rating or what not as I didn't want those ones. Anyone who likes the style though, it would be a good price. I just wish I could find someone who'd sell me a set of 17's/18 " five spokes. Is that too much to ask? ;)

I just called them. They say they only have two wheels that will fit - Lenso make them... They guy reckons these are the "only two wheel types that will fit" though. When I said to him what about all the the other ZX's I see without your wheels on, his answer was "they must have been imported with them on". mmkay... Thanks for the link Legrath. I'm finding it really hard trying to find somebody who will sell me alloys that will fit! Nightmare...
