I think if I was going to do anything with my rear lights it would be 99 spec or all out tint (if the Zed is black). I havn't seen anything else yet that looks as good :nelson:

For me it's the looks of the car, and the looks you get from everyone else while you're driving it, from pedestrians to other car drivers. I love the community feeling of owning one, geting a flash of the headlights and a nod or wave when you see another one is a great feeling. The fact that it overtakes with such ease, 3rd gear power is insane! I love the size of it, it's a big car unlike the little mazdas and hondas, and that gives great road prescence. Over the past two months it's looked like I'd have to sell my Zed, and that would've really hurt... I can't say I'd felt that way about any other cars I've owned... Plus, the insurance is very affordable for what it is, I couldn't believe how cheap it was! Also, my wife loves it, she loves being driven around in it and drifting, shes actually worse than any of my mates for yelling at me to get it sideways lol

I got mine through Admiral, £960 fully comp on an Import TT with mods declared for a 24 year old Also they were extremely helpful... Hope this helps

Hey "SCRATCHYBALLS" if you don't want to sound like a TWOCER then maybe put a bit more info in your original post man! Don't YOU think you sounded suspicious? I've read and heard a lot about people organising "meets" only to be followed and carjacked or have their cars nicked there and then. It's right to be cautious! Like Stevepud said, these cars are one of the prime targets for theft, look at the general discussion thread, some dickheads are trying to nick them from right under the owner's noses! Sorry if you feel offended by my suspicion, but when you've had a car stolen from you, it kinda does that to you y'know? As part of my ongoing crap financial situation, I can no longer afford to buy these up from JDS-Z. He's got a set of fronts made up for me, but like I say I just havn't got the money to buy them, extremely poor right now :( So if you want them please let him know. So not only could I not get my wheels and tyres, now I can't get the HID conversion or even these mats :cry: Ah well, shit happens for a reason I suppose, here's to 2006

One of the best ways of doing it is when someone bombs up close to the rear, then follows you expecting you to floor it, then goes to overtake, that's the time to show him what a Zed's all about, 3rd gear roll on, nothing beats it! I'm the same with the little chav's, they never have a pop at it lol Soooo many funny comments such as Chav - "Is that the Twin Turbo mate?" Me - "Yup" (Secretely surprised he knew there was any other type) Chav's "Crew" - "Ooooooooh" Chav - I ain't racin that mate, nuffin round 'ere will do it pmsl Best things so far are; Porsche 911 - Not sure what version, he was behind me all the time after aforementioned antics on the dualie Skyline - This guy was really going for it, overtaking cars behind me to get behind the Zed then hovering. I gave him a nod and a smile after what must've been 20 mins of mucking about all over the Braintree to Chelmsford road, he gave me a big grin and a thumbs up, nice show of respect I thought. Integra - This was easy, guy was an ass, so turned off, he was driving like a lunatic trying to keep up, he nearly lost it on a roundabout, so decided to end it. Sierra Cosworth - Actually got film of this one from my mate in a car behind us. There's a long story behind this one but it boiled down to me and a MG-Z going to his home town of Saffren Walden. I was told there was this guy who's always parked up and reckoned he could whoop anything that came along, and apparantly he was normally succesful. So we go down there, I pull in and there were so many teenagers wearing baseball caps I couldn't believe it, truly chav central... Sure enough there he was with his car running and a crowd round him, I blip the throttle a little and go past him sideways. I then drove out onto the road, he then comes flying past the MG where the camera was, and decides to "whoop" me too. Uh - Uh. All you see is the Zed dissaperaing off into the distance while the Cossie is struggling to stay on the same road. That was brilliant. :x: And my crowning glory A mint Escort Cosworth Coming back from a jaunt to Stanstead, he decides to let the car's hair down, this one was the closest of all up to around 130, with me pulling away all the time, he gave up after this, seeing that he wasn't going to do it. That was a true rush, it was 3 in the morning, with nothing on the roads. Brilliant :) This was all in the first month of owning it, now I've got over the initial need of trouncing anything I see, I just cruise around now enjoying the looks, nice calm chilled driving. That plus the fact I spent £250 on fuel in not a lot of time... :o One day I'll grow up... ;)

Holy shit I just saw these pics and was confused, I thought these were of your other Zed, then I saw your other thread and thought, "no way, he's only had it five minutes!!!" So sorry to hear about this Yas, that is so unlucky... :( I really hope it all gets sorted out okay for you mate...

That sounds like a great deal Stevepud! In all honestly in nearly 4 years of having internet access through BT I have had 2, that's 2 downtime periods of no longer than hours each time. One I didn't even know about until I got a letter of apology through lol I have lots of mates and family members who have tried other companies and not only is the contention ratio pathetic but the downtimes last for days in only a few months with them! For people that need to worry about 30 gig of data transfer a month, well, they need to get out more! In fact they need to buy a Zed and get out more! lol I probably use a gig if that per month so I think come May (When they said on the phone at the time it was going to be enforced) I won't be losing any sleep over that ;)

Oh and as for the stickers, I recently had a mare trting to get two off of mine that I'd had enough of. I just poured a kettle's worth of hot water on em and picked away with fingernails and a razor to lift up the edges. Worked a treat :o) I'm willing to Wager that the Car does NOT have a Nitrous system installed as well... ;) Or am I wrong? :x:
