  1. Sorry - can't do Porterfields for tomorrow as they're not in stock at the moment. Can do Stillen/Mintex 1461 pads though ... £80 for the fronts, £74 for the rears and £12 postage for the lot. Will need to know before 3pm so call me on 0845 4744-382. Regards, Dan
  2. Suspension geometry setup is an art in itself. To set a car up to "factory" settings is easy enough and most tyre places can do that. Setting up a high performance car that has been modified is an entirely different story and requires a technician who knows what he's doing. Having said that, what needs to be done in the first instance is to set the suspension back to "factory". That will give you the base line to work from. Then it is a question of what your requirements are. Is the car your daily driver? What is your driving style like? Do you intend to use the car on a track? Do you want to dial out understeer all together or leave a touch of it to aid traction in slower corners? Etc, etc. A good technician will be able to work from a clean base line and set the car up exactly to your wishes. Aside from the obvious (aftermarket) adjustable suspension arms that are required to set up the car correctly, other parts that can affect how a car handles are the suspension (strut and spring), anti-roll bar settings, over all weight distribution, weight of each corner of the car and of course tyre compound and condition. All of this "should" be looked at when setting up the geometry. Good luck with it all - with a bit of luck your car will feel completely transformed come Friday afternoon! :)
  3. Yes, there is a difference between NA and TT injectors (NA = 270cc/TT = 370cc). If you opt for using the TT injectors you will also require a remap (chip). Performance wise there won't be any noticable difference. If MJP can't help you with a set of NEW injectors then let me know as I've got a good source for OEM injectors. Regards, Dan
  4. Al, Ferodo DS2500 pads are good pads for use on a track but beware that due to their extremely agressive and hard compound they WILL eat through your discs in no time at all. I'm out of stock of Porterfields at the moment (new stock due in a few weeks) as I would recommend them for "fast road" and occassional track use. I can also recommend Stillen brake pads (made by Mintex specifically to Stillen's specifications). Excellent for daily use and good on the track. £85.00 (front) plus £7.00 delivery and available from UK stock. Edit to add: For fast road and track use I would recommend the DBA 4000-series discs. These are direct replacements for stock TT discs and are grooved for additional heat and gas extrusion. Internally vented design. Will take occassional track "abuse" without warping so long as proper cool-down protocol is used following the track session. Cost is £296.00 per pair plus £17.00 shipping (they're heavy buggers!) Please let me know if I can help source anything for you. Regards,
  5. Yes, no problem. Give me a bell on 0845 4744-382 with your card details and I'll get the ball rolling. Regards,
  6. KSport Z32 Caliper Mounting Brackets: £158.99 per pair. You'll also require a fitting kit (ie, bolts, washers) but these are not available direct from KSport. Best would be to get those from a local fixings supplier when you've got all the hardware together. Just ensure the bolts are of the High Tensile variety. Lead time on the brackets is approx. 4~6 weeks. HTH
  7. OK - will do. I just responded to your other thread ref. front caliper to the rear. Regards,
  8. Take your car to ZedWorld (details in the Traders Section) in Tamworth - best in the business!
  9. WOW - blast from the past! :) I suppose it could be done but there are several things to consider: 1. discs will need to be 280x30mm 2. discs need to be able to take the handbrake shoes 3. front calipers probably have different mounting points so you'll need to "modify" the existing mounting points on the rear hub (which is NEVER recommended due to safety reasons) To be honest, I think it'll probably be more hassle and money than it's worth. The majority of braking occurs at the front so whatever you do to the rear is never going to make that much of a difference. If it was my car I would probably look into getting a complete big brake upgrade kit from KSport. Ie, 356mm front and 330mm rear. If you need prices for this please let me know as I sell a lot of KSport big brake kits. HTH
  10. I believe that ALL KSport calipers are identical and not car specific. Therefore, it is the bracket that determines which car the caliper can be fitted to. And to that end I think you can probably get a pair of brackets direct from the KSport website. Could be wrong but worth a try. If you get stuck let me know as I could ask my KSport distributor if they do the Z32 brackets on their own. Dan
  11. Yes, over the top it goes. And you will need to tap it down quite a bit in order for it not to foul on the bonnet. Either that or your fuse box is sitting too high. HTH Dan
  12. Superb! Speak to you then! All the best,
  13. Yes it is the power steering pulley that is different. FWIW - at that price (Ebay) I would be seriously concerned about the manufacturing quality of the pulleys, especially their tolerances (essential to reduce vibration which causes failure). Some time ago I invested in having the stock sized pulleys copied in lightweight material. Had them done at a place that produces pulleys to the racing industry and obtained guarantees that the tolerances of the highest standards. Cheapest I got them done for (a complete set of four pulleys) was £208. So feel free to make your own conclusions as to the ebay parts quality ... ;)
  14. Hi Craig, If you want a set of BC Coilovers then let me know - they and the Powertrix coilovers are the ones I sell most frequently. Price for the BC kit is £560 plus £10 shipping. Usually available from UK stock otherwise it's 7 days to order and deliver. Stock spring rates are 8kg/mm front and 6kg/mm rear but can also be ordered with 10 front and 8 rear if required. The former is the prefered setup for UK roads whereas the latter is best for track use only as it would rattle your fillings out from your teeth on anything other thant he smoothest of race tracks ;) The system is also features 30-way adjustable dampening. All the best,
  15. As above BUT I would strongly recommend you drive to your local MOT station/friendly garage and have them check the alignment of your headlights. Because the HID bulbs are longer than the OEM halogen bulbs you MAY find that the beam pattern has shifted and requires adjusting. I ALWAYS recommend my customers to do this just to be sure. Shouldn't cost more than a fiver if anything at all. You should also ensure that the INSIDE of the projector and headlight glass are clean as dirt will cause excessive light scattering and blur the beam pattern thereby making the HID lights less effective and possibly blinding oncoming traffic due to glare. HTH
  16. It's not CHROME, just polished stainless steel. Also, the ebay item is for fitment to a TWIN TURBO only.
  17. That's an interesting injector adapter kit - hadn't seen that before. I normally recommend the 300-Degree fuel rails to customers because (a) it replaces the ageing stock fuel rails and (b) it allows for further upgrades in the future without having to spend mega ££ on ancillary parts. However, this new adapter kit "seems" to do away with that requirement. I just hope that the manufacturing tolerances have been strictly adhered to and checked as you don't want the adapter kit to start leaking fuel over time ... With regard to the injectors, I personally have never sold JECS injectors because they only ever sold stock 270/370cc injectors - I only deal with NISMO injectors because they have a proven quality heritage. Having said that, the JECS injectors do seem to be available at a very reasonable price. Furthermore, you'll probably struggle to find an "off-the-shelve" performance chip for the later style Nismo 615cc injectors. Most stop at the old style 555cc injectors. We at DTA have got a chip for the NISMO 615cc injectors in the works but are still fine tuning it. @ Quavey: yes, you can buy the later style NISMO 615cc injectors but take note of what I said just above regarding the chip situation.
  18. Concur with the above. HID bulbs aren't good when installed in a "reflector" type headlight (like the Z32 high-beam). They work best with "projector" (aka ellipsoid) headlights (like the Z32 dip-beam). In fact, having installed a H4 bi-xenon HID kit in my wife's MX5 (Mk2) with reflector type headlights, I found that the beam pattern was all over the place and lots of internal light scattering (causing excessive light dispersion to oncoming vehicles). Took them out after only a few weeks and reverted back to good old halogen bulbs.
  19. Hi, It all depends on what your end goal is and what supporting modifications there are (ie, uprated turbos, intercoolers, etc). We can provide chips for stock systems or engines running uprated internals and 555cc Nismo injectors. With respect to the jump in price, it's due to us having to source a suitable ECU, testing it and doing the necessary modifications. I don't do it myself but have to send it away and I charge the customer what I'm charged. Regards,
  20. FYI - I sell both 35W and 55W HID conversion kits. The 35W kits are BY FAR the most popular and are roughly 300% brighter than halogen bulbs. If, after installing your HID kit, you find that the light output is lower then you WILL have very dirty headlights (both inside and outside the glass). It is common knowledge that HID light (rated at 5000~6000K) reflects much more off dirt particles than halogen light (rated at roughly 2800~4500K). This is also what causes "glare" and why it is a legal requirement for HID equipped cars (ie, oem factory fitted) to have headlight cleaning equipment. From my experience, 35W 6000K HID kits are what people should be installing. The 55W kits are too bright for normal road use and WILL blind oncoming traffic if the headlights are not properly adjusted and/or dirty. For fog light applications HID kits are of absolutely no use. Fog light units project a very wide beam (nearly 90-degrees) but don't project it very far (mostly 4~6 meters ahead of the car only). First of all, fitting a H3 HID bulb into the fog light enclosure is going to be very tight / impossible due to the extra length of the bulb. Secondly, if you do manage to install one then the light will be projected straight into the fog (due to the focal point being different) and the result is a well lit up wall of white fog, ie - no practical use. Some of you will have found this out when driving through falling snow these past few weeks. HID's seem to pick up the snow/water particles and light them up rather than projecting "through" the precipitation. I've currently got a brand new multi SMD fog light bulb that I'm testing out which is rated at 6000K (ie, colour coordinates with our 6000K HID kits), fits into the Z32 fog light enclosure and "should" project sufficient light. This bulb is still in the testing phase but will be released shortly if the tests are positive. If any one has any questions regarding HID kits, fitting procedure or any other bulbs, please feel free to PM or phone me. All the best,
  21. Hi Mark, Have responded to your online order submission - part is in stock and ready to ship. Regards, Dan
  22. As far as I know, Eric (Lymon on here) has installed the Akebono 370Z brake kit from ConceptZ on one of his Z32's with great success and results. I'm sure he'll chime in with useful feedback soon. Other that the above, I can highly recommend the KSport brake kits. To retain the braking balance I would opt for either: 1. 330mm/8-pot front & 330mm/6-pot rear, or 2. 356mm/8-pot front & 330mm/6-pot rear Either of the above will not negatively impact the ABS system and the latter is perfect for fast road and/or track use. HTH
  23. Hi, I offer this service :) but don't think I was the guy you spoke with last year. I can offer the following service: 1. DTA Performance Chip: £65.00 2. DTA Performance Chip + ECU Socketing Service: £105.00 3. DTA Performance ECU: £299.00 (£80 to be refunded upon receipt of your original ECU - must be in excellent working order) All the above prices include insured shipping and where required a set of boost jets (to run up to 14psi boost). Please let me know if I can be of assistance. Regards,
  24. Yep, I can source the Nismo smoked side repeaters. However, it may take some time as Nismo seems to be in a bit of a state at the moment and not shipping any parts out quickly. Let me know if you want me to place an order. Price should be in the region of £35~£45 - but I will confirm. Regards,
  25. Yes, but the OP is after NA pipes. To the best of my knowledge (and SFS's most recent price catalogue) they only sell TT intake pipes.
