  1. Sure, so long as you've got the correct bulb holder (should be the same as used for the side repeaters on the front wings, ie - 501 "capless wedge" fitment). If you haven't got any then I've got a few suitable bulb holders with a short length of wiring (new). Also, don't use them as indicators as the law states they need to flash amber.
  2. Hi guys, I just clocked this thread ;)! I've got a few Ultra Bright LED's in stock which fit the side lights and colour coordinate with any 6000K HID kit. BLB015 - Ultra Bright LED (pair): £12.50 DEL002 - Recorded Delivery (1st Class): £1.50 If paying via Paypal please add 3% - our paypal ID = payments@dta-motorsport.co.uk If paying via Credit/Debit card please phone me on 07044 016586 with your card details. HTH
  3. Due to the fact that I've now had 3 requests for pricing information on the Full Stillen Adjustable Sway Bar Kit (incl. adjustable drop links and poly bushes) I have requested a price from them. Having purchased these kits for customers before I am aware that shipping costs for one kit or two kits is near enough the same so there could be some benefit to be had from ordering a pair rather than just one. I also know that Stillen WILL NOT mark down the shipped value of their goods so you WILL end up paying an additional 22% for import duty & vat. When I get their pricing info I'll post it up here and we can see if there is enough interest for a combined order. I'm reluctant to organise a GB because the shipping cost is so high for these kits. But lets see where we go once prices have been set. HTH Dan PS - I've had these on my car for over 3 years now and the difference is PHENOMENAL! You can preload the bar as much as you want to set the car up for under/oversteer, etc. And the droplinks are a work of art and very robust.
  4. I'm afraid I can't help you with the voltage query but you won't be able to find a new Series 1 PTU. We stock S2 PTU's (£145) so if you need one please let me know. Good luck, Dan
  5. You need to look at it from a different perspective: How much budget to you have available? How much contingency funds to you have available? Only when you know those figures can you start slotting in the spec list and decide what is feasible.
  6. As you know I can sort you out with stock sized DBA rear discs to go with your fronts and Porterfield pads. Discs: £210 Pads: £65 P+P: £15.00 All in stock. HTH Dan
  7. The 1mm gasket is stock thickness. If you had the heads skimmed then the overal compression will have increased if you're using a 1mm gasket. Not detrimental to performance though.
  8. Like Andy I'm speechless ... Thank you for the kind words Steve and you're very welcome for all the help to date. I'm glad things are starting to look brighter for you and getting this project underway will be a great boost to that new beginning. All the best mate, Dan
  9. I HAVE to cook everyday otherwise I'd be dead within a week if my wife cooks ... She hasn't killed anyone (yet) with her so-called "experimental" cooking but by George you wouldn't want to eat anything she cooks! I love her dearly but cooking has become a self preservation excercise - lucky then that I really enjoy cooking! :)
  10. Thank you very much everyone for your birthday wishes! Having turned 35 I've been quite keen to keep it under wraps but that seems to have gone horribly wrong! Anyway - no dirty weekend I'm afraid (it's a health hazard at my advanced age don't you know ...? ;)) but did have a nice day/evening. Andy - your EGR removal kit has been delayed courtesy of a delay with Cometic but the shipment should be on its way shortly. Steve - your tubbies and associated knick-knacks will be ordered this week. Snowygt - your 120K service kit will be en route together with Andy's EGR removal kit, etc. Will PM you shortly. All the best folks! Dan
  11. I tried this with my current insurer as my car is off the road (and will be for some considerable time). I was told that (a) they don't offer insurance without the road element in it (as you put it) and (b) if I were to change from fully comp to Third Party then I wouldn't be able to take it back to fully comp once the car is back on the road. I'm sure this is a load of BS but in the end I had to leave it on fully comp eventhough I haven't driven her out of the garage for over 6 months now! Not sure how this information is any help to you David but I thought I'd share it any way ;) Cheers! Dan
  12. Yes they are expensive. Yes they do rear pads as well - I'll put prices up tomorrow after confirmation from supplier. Dan
  13. Hi, I'm must tuning into this thread and will concur that Ferodo pads are an excellent choice. However, as Smithy pointed out at the beginning of this thread, brake performance and efficiency does depend on the pad and disc combination. So, in other words, Ferodo pads may work extremely well for some people but less so for others depending on the discs they're running. As I've been getting numerous price requests for these since yesterday I've taken the liberty of requesting up-to-date pricing from my supplier. Ferodo DS2500 Front Pads (300ZX TT standard calipers): £114.95 + £8 postage. These are in stock (at supplier) and can be send out upon receipt of your payment. Due to the Easter weekend which is nearly upon us I need to state that it is likely that any orders received and paid for by tomorrow will not be dispatched until Tuesday 25th March. If the interest is large enough for a GB (ie, 10+ orders) I can request further discounts. HTH Dan
  14. See attached pics. Kahn RS-C 2-piece 19" with 235 at front and 265 at rear (Toyo Proxes T1-R's). In the attached pics the car hasn't been lowered yet but is now sitting on AVO lowering springs and stock shocks (-20mm at the front & -30mm at the rear). Very compliant ride. Can't remember the off-sets though ... sorry. As far as I know only three of us on here have these: Faisal, Touslecoq and yourstruly :) Dan
  15. We are official resellers of Carbing products in the UK. Z32 Carbing Front Strut Brace: £265 Z32 Carbing Rear Strut Brace: £265 The above costs include all import duty/VAT/delivery charges. These strut braces are produced to order for us so delivery time will be around 2 ~ 3 weeks. Give me a shout if I can help any further. Dan
  16. I've already responded to your PM regarding this subject but for the benefit of those watching this thread: Our ConZult interface/cable is INCOMPATIBLE with the Datascan software that accompanies the Blatz product. The Blatz cable (and any other cable found on ebay) is INCOMPATIBLE with the full version of the ConZult Diagnostic Software. However, there is a freeware version (ie a very stripped down version) of the ConZult diagnostic software which WILL work with the Blatz cable. DTA-Motorsport will NOT offer any technical support on equipment and software not officially sold by us or our resellers. We therefore suggest that to obtain the full benefit of our diagnostic software you purchase the FULL ConZult Diagnostic Kit. Our ConZult equipment works through both SERIAL and USB connections. For the USB connection to work you need to purchase a separate USB-RS232 converter from us. This converter contains the correct chipset to deal with our bi-directional data flow. You will find that if you connect the ConZult interface through any other USB converter that the software is likely to freeze and/or crash. You will also require the latest version of our diagnostic software (ie v2.4) which is optimised for use with our USB converter. HTH Dan
  17. 3m of ID4mm 3m of ID6mm 2m of ID8mm The above is what I sell as a kit and will do most vacuum hoses under the bonnet. HTH Dan
  18. Not sure whether I'm talking out of my backside or not but I'm sure that in Holland the Diesel pump nozzle is bigger than petrol nozzles. Ie, you can't stick a diesel nozzle in a petrol filler due to the nozzle being too big ... If that's the case, why hasn't that been introduced here? Sorry to hear about your mistake Mark - happens to all of us at some point ... Dan
  19. From experience, run the power cables on one side of the car and speaker cables down the other - minimizes interference. HTH Dan
  20. Yes, best way is to ship to someone you know in the US and then have it forwarded to the UK. However, it'll be quite costly for the moulded carpet as it is a bulky item and weighs quite a bit. Also factor in roughly 22% import duty/vat and about £15 handling fees on top of the international part of the shipping cost. A quick word of advise on buying car mats from the US - they will all be for LHD cars and therefore won't fit a RHD car. If you want help sourcing some quality car mats please let me know as I have a supplier who does that. HTH Dan
  21. That's it! Snow Patrol! Thanks for that - it's been hanging around the back of my head for hours now and it was driving me nuts not knowing where I'd seen it! Not that I'm obsessive or anything ... ;) Dan
  22. I've seen this before - I think it was part of a music video (no idea which group/song). Still, impressive but it was a long time ago (judging by the age of other cars on the road).
  23. Nope, and there are already a couple of GTR's in the UK and Europe (grey imports and the official Nissan press car).
  24. DTA (over in Holland) will have European Premiere in a few weeks ... I can't say what it is yet but it will be the ONLY one of its kind in Europe and the UK. More to follow when the time is right ....
