well I'm sure its just a strange coincidence but the chances of 2 Irish plates starting in plz ending up o identical cars... mine was an auto, had a very slight bit of tint on the drivers window, as passenger one was replaced, was despoilered, and had a water stained drivers seat where i left the roof off... and it rained, tbh, the insurance company paid out for it already so im not worried about it any more, it just shocked me to see what though was my car...

right i saw a 300zx reg plz 1... somthing, driving down ainsworth lane, bolton today about, 3pm, was wondering who owned it, it was strange because mine was stolen from ainsworth lane and its reg was plz 2880,and they are identical...?

modding a zed?
thants for all the help, its alright ive got a couple of conections in the far east might get a MINES ecu for my z, ran one on my 320bhp s13, was going to go with driftworks eliminater, and yellowstuff pads on vented disks, if i shouldn't bothe with a dv, how stroung are the standard recircs? any leaking problems?, was planning on getting a pair of JUN wolf turbos at some point i just wanted it futurproof....

modding a zed?
after my Z32 was stolen a month ago, im getting a new one, but whats the best set up for a TT z32, my last zed ran an unbranded airfilter and exhuast and was very disapointed, im defonatly fitting a greddy profec B controller, and thinking of a pair of high boost dump valves ( by this i meen set up only to work under high boost setting,) and the hicas has got to go, and the bottle cap brakes need uprating, what brands do poeple recomend, eg exhuast induction kit radiators, i think you get the idea, ive got a fair bit to spend on the mods and my unis auto lab for fitting, so lets hear some ideas, suggestion, ,

first of all now a proper member yay... but more seriously my z32 was stolen a few days ago, its a black Twin turbo, with " ADL Racing" stickers on the quarter light windows and on the back, its on BK299's i am leaving the REG in the picture "PLZ 2880" it was stolen form Bolton lancashire, it was stolen using a tow truck and lifting arm!!!! any info please PM/ email me, (sorry if this is in the wrong section but please move it to somewhere more relevant if need be)

yeah somone will pay for it, tbh only found it funny becuase i have no luck with cars what so ever, both my S13's spent half there lives broken down and the rest of the time on a tow truck, the only reliable car i have ever owned was my rs2000 powered sierra (don't ask what i was thinking) and that got crashed into... was actually really enjoying having a reliable car, that i didn't have to spend hours a week fixing, i bought a nice one too, 50,000 miles , ~ 70.000KM on speedo, no major damage, already its crashed into, found that the wheels dont come off unless you dont want them to, and that targa roofs are really annoying when somone trys to break in and makes a hole in the seel... sorry rant over.... i'll have it fixed in no time, already ordered new brakes got some nice groved and dimpled ones, and yellowstuff brake pads, im then going to start the body repairs, im not changing cars again...!!! lol thats where phoenix comes from,

found the problem today lol, was driving home from work, and the whole wheel came off!!! was really funny, only damaged the brake disk, but turned out the studs had sheared off, so the wheel was wobbling not the suspention... the z came home on a tow truck, brakes was one of the things i was doing to the rear axle so no big deal really

well was goning to get the driftworks one, as it replaces everything, need to do some work on the back axel anyway, just hope it can make it from bolton to brighton alright...:sad:,

it is a directional tyre but its 100% on the right side, it strange, it doesn't always do it, it just randomly twitches and the car starts crabbing, if you put your foot down it seems not to do it during acceleration, it happens around 20-40mph, no noticed it over this.

hi, i just fitted a new tyre to my Z32, and have noticed the car now twitches at speed, for no reason it goes off to the side, then corrects its self again, not sure if its just driving it on ice, but its really hard to control, wonder if this is a hicas problem? of alinment? or somthing else? the front wheels seem to be turning correctly, it just seems like the new rear left tyre is causing problems.

tbh most insurance companies wont insure you on a track, hench why my Z32 currently has a large dent down one side...:oops:... but i think the damage is costing about £350 to take out, but was quoted about £500 to insure the car lol and if you look at it like me, good excuss to get creative with the body work:innocent:

z32 handbrake?
hi, i've just decided to keep my z32 but fix it up, got a set of yellow stuff pads all round going in soon and new vented disks, but at the mo my Z's hand brake is hardly working, its tightened to max and is stupidly high, thank god for the park setting on the gearbox...lol its a 2+2 import TT the 2 +2 does the hand brake come off the caliper or have a separate drum? and is it just a case of a new cable or is there more too it? the back axles getting stripped anyway to lock out the hicas and fit the new brakes so want to fix this at the same time. sorry for the stupid question but i have the manual but cant seem to get a definitive answer...

left right turbos?
first of all had a search cant find anything, bit of a newbie question, but i have 2 T28h 1 used to be on my s13 the other is the spare, the are from a pulsar technically, what is the difference between the left and right turbos? apart from you can get to one but not the other, can i fit my t28h's to it? from pictures and looking at the car can't see any difference, but was on the turbo technics site and the called the right and left? if not what is the best way to upgrade the turbos? p.s. my z has finally stopped being temperamental now, cheers for all the advice before.

right been looking over the car, the fuel came out the filter brown!!! think this car needs a good service soon, the fuel lines were presuising, but no spark from the plugs, what is the ignition setup on a Z32 plugs- coilpacks- ???- ???- is the ptu the thing the oposite side of the cas???

right, was just about to go try to diagnose the noise on my z32 and i thought it ran out of fuel, wouldn't start ,put more in it, it turns over but not starting, was just wonding if this could be linked to the noise, well any one know the common problems? i have ran the pump alot and there is fuel the tank side of the filter, (couldn't get the pipe off the other side, ) its not catching at all, so i guess its either no fuel getting to the engine, or a problem with the igintion, any sugestions??? the z didn't stall it was parked up and then few hours later wouldn't start. sorry for all the questions everyone, i don't know much about these

vg30dett problem, only had it a week!!!
right, only got my Z32 a week ago, no strange noises, its auto TT '93, but '03 import, done 52,000 miles, but noticed its started to have a slight clicking noise from under the bonnet, its in time with the revs, not sure its loud enough to be a bearing as my old s13 went through 2 engines due to bearing failure, (ca18det engine are crap and i was putting stupid power through them lol) its low millage, since ive had it its been drive 500miles redlined once for 0-60 timing but not taken over 4K other then that, was told these engine were strong, all the fluids are at the right levels, its never overheated, (was a mates car before i got it) it too low millage to have spun a bearing surley, it sounds more like a valve to me, but i started it today and its got louder, it gets quieter as it warms up, you can't hear it unless the windows are down and it ecoing off a car next to me or a wall, any one had a similar problem, anyone know where i can get it fixed near manchester... dam i guess this puts an end to my moddifiying idea, i'll prob go back to 200sx i think.

just got a Z32 but its soooo slow
thanks everyone, i dont think i have a boost leak as the standard gauge does work, my zed is an auto though, timed it and is over 6 secs, and im not sure about needing 390bhp, as my s13 was fully stripped weighed in at 1050kg!!! plastic windows the works, was a beast, im gonna go for stage 2 i think, couple of T28R's full zorst, direct cold air filters fed through the front fog holes, think i still have a profec B laying about will that fit a z? and where would i get the ecu chips from any good companies, have done a search but can't find any obvious places.
