  1. im looking for all the glass for a lwb, as long as its intact any condition will do, been in contact with plastics 4 performance about making a lwb kit, (they already do swb), they want to make moulds for lexan windows for a lwb, and as my zed lives on the street, i cant take all mine out to send to them. so if anyone has any preferably cheap, as they will be ruined in the process, windscreen, door glass rh door glass lh quarter rh quarter lh rearscreen
  2. Mark can you put me down, been meaning to go to this show for a whole
  3. Your zed Looks good, did if feel any lighter?
  4. Thanks for the offer, but I'll get mine repaired I think.
  5. Looks great. Do you ever do any events at brands? Would love to see it in action.
  6. Get one cut locally? Would I need to find a plastics specialist? Got a nice new grinder the other day, might have to test it out...
  7. Was thinking the vents had a purpose on the fenders, will have mine repaired I think. Will see if I can get a poly window for a lwb, lean do them for swb might see if they can do lwb ones too.
  8. Fair enough so no gains? Though the tub may have been lighter. What about a poly window for the rear? If I can find one is it worth doing?
  9. Was going over my zed with the bodyshop guy today, my front fenders are really rusted as is the tailgate, Saw that zcentre sell vented fibreglass ones, are there any benefits to fitting them over having mine repaired? And the glass will have to come out of the tailgate for paint, worth changing to a tub or plastic if I could find one? The old z's my trackday toy, so looks aren't important but I hate to see rust lol...
  10. Late spec na manual, good choice... Mines a 95 but got it a similar way, came up on here as spares/repairs and I put it back on the road, except mines going track spec not drift, but as an ex s13 owner ( and never looked back) the zed's drift so much nicer IMHO. Ironically bought my first zed for uni as well...lol
  11. It always rains for jae... lol
  12. Which one you staying at? I'm booked at the " Belgrade plaza" not sure how close it is, but it said coventry...
  13. Hi Pete not really around for a few days, but will give a ring next week if it's alright? Is there a time that's best? Brighton is down the road from me used to go and watch the trails, not competed yet maybe one day. I always liked my zed, but until I did my first proper trackday last year I hadn't caught the bug, most fun I'd ever had in a car. And luckily for me I'm not far from brands hatch...
  14. Hopefully some of the experienced members can help me, Looking for advice on tyres for different forms of motorsport It's the first time I've tried to build a car with a purpose, started after seeing Pete's na at japfest a few years back, now I'm turning my na into a "toy" for trackdays and occasionally trips to santa pod, Tbh it'll never see competition use but would still like to do it properly, So would like to know what I should be closing, I've currently got a few sets of alloys 8 oe alloys, set of 370, and a set of 9j 18's, unfortunately the oe won't fit over the brakes I want but wanted the 370 for road / show, the 18's for track, but guess I'd best get another set for drag use
  15. I've only been to santa pod twice so know very little about drag tyres, do you want some flex then? I know when you see the wheelie pulling yanks they have massive sidewalls that ripple as they launch, What about track cars? Sorry to hijack a bit but I'm new to track/drag car would be useful to know for my na trackday car Only measured my wheels and tyres as I had fitting issues with the front catching on the bumper,
  16. My 370 rears had 275/35/19 10 j out the factory so roughly 26.5" dia 10.9" width But we're then fitted with 295/30/19 which actually reduces their dia to 26" and 11.6" width My oe tyres were 25" dia 8.8" width The tyres look good, apart from having no tread left... Not very forgiving on bumps though. Tbh there show wheels My track tyres are going on the ebay specials 9j 255/35/18 close to oe dia but 10" wide, but it turns in my better then with either my oe or the 370 wheels
  17. I briefly had 370z wheels, 10j rears they were 295 tyres, didn't rub but I ideally need to roll the arches slightly. Once I get some tyres / money for... They will be going back on.
  18. Thanks, is there any that aren't cheap Chinese ones?
  19. Thanks, wanted to check before I started ordering, just got to decide which ones now
  20. The next step on my na is the brakes and suspension, Already chosen the big brakes so that's easy But does anyone have any experience with compatibility on the Na? Seen loads of shiny bit japspeed, ams etc that do adjustable arms etc but will they fit an na? Just thinking fronts probably ok, but rears a different subframe... I know the coilovers will be fine.
  21. I'd second that get a specialist to look, form experience people like Jeff are a much better source then nissan. I work for the oldest dealer in the country, techs with 25+ years of nissan but they are definitely not zed specialists... I still think it's the box, but there are alot more experienced members then me on here.
  22. I think I'm winning them over slowly though,
  23. It was the box on mine, and changing the box isn't as much a big deal as it sounds I did it in a morning, admittedly I was using a ramp at work They were laughing because most nissan garages don't like 300's lol, mine in particular had a history of them coming in and being there for a long time, I get nothing but stick for driving one and they think it's great when it arrives on a tow truck lol,
