Seen it bud-aint made of money! :o Well tonight I managed to move the engine back half an inch and got the new pump on! only thing with this pump is that the alternator mounts aren't on it!(stress later!) oh! and managed to fit the original starter cable-which was nice! :D

Bugger got to register! :headvswal Anyhow, they say things happen for a reason and since fitting the smaller flywheel and clutch the starter don't hit the rack no more! :D

Hmmmm........sounds like clutch trouble then mate!-is it very old/many miles? Just trying to go through everything here as you can't rule out the box' itself! Bugger!-nearly forgot-you could also drop the slave off and see if it has more travel in 'free air' so to speak!

Does the slave move as soon as you press the pedal?-as soon as the m/cylinder starts it's stroke the slave should too!-if not you still got air in it bud!

The new flywheel and clutch came today so I had to fit em' when I got home! :hyper: :D -chucked the box' back on and the engine is back in it's proper place! Also got a short water pump, this should allow the Koyo back in! Oh!-and yes the engine turns over now :o ;)

I'm deffo happy with the missus-nobody else would put up with me! :o

Dave, check any vac lines also -especially for the EGR-mondeo's used to suffer with cracked/perished pipes etc. :D

Is this fitted with the original electric fan or just the Kenlowe? (and Pete-I'll ignore that last remark!) :D

Ecu don't pick up on the Maf IIRC just the connection to it!-get a good one and try it that'll tell you for sure! :D

Reet pi55ed off a the mo'-as was seen in yesterdays post, the engine and box' was in. Guess what!-the fookers out again :headvswal after me trying to fit the starter and noticing the clutch was VERY close to the b/housing! Tried turning the engine and -yep-you guessed the fooker locks up! So got the g/box split again today and gotta order a new flywheel!! :rant: Oh! and another clutch cover!-bugger! :rolleyes: FOR SALE Chevy flywheel and New clutch cover :smw:
