Ohm tested the new connector and after refitting was getting around 21 ohms Took off and cleaned the others along with every other bloody connector I could find. Took it for a run to warm it right up. Up until now, the problem has always occurred on restarting a hot engine. Turned it off, left it a few minutes and fired it up....Halebloodyluya all 6 firing, Seems a lot smoother as well, also seems to rev through the top end of the range better. It seemed like it flattened off before. Cheers for all the pointers and replies :hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper: Now to get the roof panel sorted.

MPG wasn't that bad for a 3.0 car. Gearboxes can be expensive though. Make sure its all tickety boo on that front had mine for 2 years and did 40k a year in it. The problem is, manufacturers are going for a "Family" of cars with the same design features. You can't make a 4X4 look like a sports car ala Porshe

Ok, I'm fairly new on here but I want to get this off my chest. In the short time I've owned a Z I've discovered that there is a shortage of Z specialists out there who are willing and able to take on any major work on the cars. At the moment there are a few people who have proven themselves to be an asset to the club (Jeff among many others) Then there are some who want to take the enthusiasm they have for the car to the next level. These people should be thanked as without them, in the end we will be left with rotting Zeds and a bunch of memories. However, in any learning process mistakes are made. And it's down to the bods who do the work and those who give their cars over that the skills thrive. IMO...Anyone who steps forward to publicly take on a job should be encouraged by EVERYONE. Rant over. :mad:
