Hi, Can anybody reccomend a insurance company I can try, I want to keep the impreza insured but would like the zed to be on the same policey so I can use my no claims on bother cars if you know what I mean. Iam 28 with a clean licence and 7 years no claims. Cheers Mark

Hi, After alot of thinking and your input, Iam not going to swap my n/a engine for a TT. But Iam going to keep the n/a as it was cheap and the body and engine are good nick. I know with it been a n/a there wont be much room for improvement, is it worth getting a chip if so which one, I wouldnt normaly chip a car as I like a custom map but with it not been a turbo motor a custom one may not be worth the money. Any specific exhaust ect? What is the maxium the engine will put out 250hp? Thanks for the help. Mark

Hi, I have just recentely got my old Z back off my brother he dosent want it anymore and said said I could have it back for £150 lol so I couldnt resist. The body work is good, hardley no rust just needs a spray as the paint work is dull and a few little scratches ect. It is a n/a auto at the minute and sure this question has been asked several times but here I go lol, Is it a simple swap, are the engine mounts ect the same or is welding needed. also is the wiring loom the same or do I need a TT one? I know the ecu will be different, will I have to change the front bit of the prop or the whole thing? I know a na auto box wont last five minutes so hopefully will convert to manual. I know it wont be cheap and could go out and buy a TT for the same money but the shell is good and I like a project. Thanks for the help in advance, Mark

Hi thanks for the advice, if he decides to go for nos I have a full nos kit sitting in my loft lol, I had it on a 2.0 tigra years ago and beat 2.0 turbo corsa/tigra lol. Will let him know thanks again. Mark

Hi, My brother has got my old n/a auto and wants to put nos on it, dont think he wants to go mad just a little extra bhp, he asked me if an auto be ok with nos, I know the auto box is not that strong but he is a little worried when the nos kicks in the car will change down to hard, anybody done this. I watched it on Sunday and agree not as many cars featured as we would like, but there can only show the cars as fast as the manufactures bring them out, I love it and watch it every weekend and the repeats on Dave lol. Mark

Hi, Not that many people will be bothered because its an impreza lol, but I have had a Simtek ecu with antilag and launch control fitted not cheap over a grand but well worth, car boosts to 1.5bar now it is very fast and the antilag makes it sound like a rally car lol. Now I have finished up the bhp of the impreza, I now can start saving for another Z a TT manual hopefully. Cheers Mark
