Cheers bud funny you say that about the fuel pump can not smell petrol when trying to start so may not be fueling, were is the ptu situated bud its an na if it makes a difference. Cheers Mark

Hya, iam abit gutted, after trying to get my zed back to former glory I pulled it to the end of the drive and the car cut out with no warning, just like I turned the key off. The car wizzes over but not trying to fire at all any ideas guys? engine always as been good. Cheers Mark

love my zed to bits, but also have a scooby classic type r with 350bhp, as mentioned pretty light as well for a awd motor, mine will hit 0 60 in around 4 secs and keep going to 155mph, not as fast top end as the zeds but not shabby lol. Mark:-)

Hi, In the process of putting my Z back on the road but drove it round the block today as it aint been moved much since getting it and I noticed a problem with the brakes the brake pedal is pumping back at you when you apply the brakes any ideas, was fine before it was taken off the road. Also just got a rust free tailgate so Iam over the moon but it needs the stick that goes along under the spoiler says nissan on ect, can you get them from any where? Cheers Mark

just the orignal mate, thats what I wanted there even the older ones with the orange indicator, but thats what I wanted lol. Its only an n/a but can not wait to get ot sorted so I can start driving it. next on the list is a respray and a scorpion exhaust or similar one. Mark:-)

Well got my rust free tail gate, which I have been looking for ages for one, I have a set of standard perfect rear lights and a power steering pump, so Iam nearly there ready for spray then on the road. Mark:-)

Getting to grips with the Z now and will be needing a new exhaust I want to keep the twin either side as I like the look. Didnt realise how exspensive the exhaust are for a Z but I suppose there are 2 lol. Had a power flow one years ago on a different car and was ok sounded good. Any suggestions which exhaust to go for? its a n/a by the way probs will end been a TT but not any time soon lol. Cheers Mark

lol yes mate v1 240 v2 260 but even the newer wrx were not the same power as the sti bud, or what would be the point of the sti also internals of the sti were stronger. looking at wikipedia, and there say wrx/sti were rated the same due to japanese rule. but there are not lol Cheers Mark

Nice car for the price mate it is deffo a uk turbo like said standard 208bhp, The import wrx early model had 240bhp the later one had 260bhp and the sti's al had 280 as standard, from what I beliveve the uk 0-60 is some were in the 5's the wrx is 4.9 the sti is 4.7 and the sti type r is 4.4 as standard. There say you can get 30+ bhp from a decent exhaust filter a map so yes you probs around the 240 mark. enjoy mate I enjoy mine and will enjoy my Z once I start bringing back to life lol. Mark
