Hello, starting to find a few little problems now, which I new I would, when I start the car you get that noise, as if you were trying to start the car when the engine is one if you know what I mean, doesnt happen all the time, Iknw the guy I bought it off changed the starter as the old one was lazy, any ideas? As above really clutch is on the way out, so needs replacing, might do it myself as I done the one on my impreza but was a ball ache on car ramps lol, so would like a price of labour lol I know different people charge different rates just a ball park figure Iam looking for. cheers Mark

I noticed a vacum pipe off today, just wondered were it goes and whats it for pics below. does it go here, found a little tube, which a pipe could go on. Also daft question were is the gearbox dipstick to check the oil lol, that many pipes to look past. Cheers Mark dont know if the pics are any good if you need more let me know

Hya, Got a probelm with the clutch its fine driving nice and slow, but when you put your foot down slips the refv shoot up and you dont speed up, its started snice the other when the car wouldnt release reverse gear until the engine was turned off, also slight noise from thrust bearing. drove back from scotland fine just started happening. you know what you are going to say time for a new clutch lol. which clutch do you advise car is more or less standard at the minute but will in the near future want a decat and a john dixon chip or similar. gearbox feels smott through the gear apart from somthimes you get a litlle vibration on the clutch pedal. It used to be an auto but the guy I bought it of has done the manual conversion only 18months ago so he carnt of used a new clutch. Cheers Mark

Hi, Was reversing out of my road today, at very low speed, I heard a clunk and abit of a jerk and the car was stuck in reverse, turned engine off and the gear released drove it up the road and the gearbox seems fine selects all gears, havent drove it far since, any idea what happened. Its a manual box. Cheers Mark
