  3. I take it thats the base coat then lol
  4. could be shock absorbers that are shot or a ball joint worn
  5. your short shifter mod for £20 is that just a case of repositioning the base mount or creating a longer throw below the gearlever
  6. is it only relevant to the twin turbo clutch being heavier as the n/a doesn't need it ? would it make a difference with the pedal box from a n/a versus the pedal box without booster working of a TT
  7. I was wondering if it makes a big difference using the n/a clutch pedal box without the booster servo, if it does make the pedal a lot heavier then is the n/a pedal box able to accomodate the booster servo later on or is it a totally different pedal box, cos looking at workshop book it doesn't seem to much difference apart from clutch master cyl has a push rod, and pedal box has been spacered out
  8. aye namely nickle sill coating coming of the cylinder bores and causing oil burning/loss of compression lol and I like bmw's as I have worked loads of em

  11. i'l take some pickies later guys , I have no problem so far with clearance I have the correct offset with the blitz z1 wheels, I was running with 275/30/19 from new but they looked sooo stretched if the air pressure got below 30 ps they used to break the seal(10.5 inch rims) on the rim and go down lol. think if you look at the thoresby show posting pictures earlier on this year u'll see the silver veilside Zed and you can see what I mean. by the way the rear 275 have been on 2 years 12000 miles and even tyre wear :hyper:
  12. 315/25/19 conti's they look awesome apart from skinting me bad style they look hugei'll have to get some pickies put up , and thats without a wide arse kit.

  15. robert, no hammer involved matey, just when I removed them before last year I used copper slip grease on studs which made the removal a lot easier its also depends on wether you have the standard air box on as well
  16. there is more important things in life than sitting at a pc getting abuse from someone that doesn't even know you.
