  1. not normally they work fine with or without i've seen quite a few sets with em broken and have not affected running

  4. its a lurvely paint job as well, look a very clean zed well nice job
  5. go to scrapyard and find a nissan sunny get the front studs they are the same
  6. best bet is to buy some selicone hose and repipe from waste gate to boost pipes and see what boost u get then, which also will elliminate the safety boost solenoids which can seize up open or closed
  7. if the engine is detting ud be better off checking timing is not too advanced and if its correct just retard it a few degrees and make sure its not over boosting then do the bypass resistor until engine comes out, if the garage had to remove the lower plenum then it would also be adviceable to have new timing belt/waterpump fitted as wellas the timing belt will need to come off to remove lower plenum as the idler is bolted on the lower plenum

  10. there seems to be conflicting theory as the guy whos been building turbos for 30 yrs told me the 360 cartridges hes fitted are stronger and will take more hammer than the bb type, unless there is 3 types , what is the type fitted to the 650 if the 700 are bb??? rich

  16. anybody had much to do with these tubs , as i bough some a while ago from the usa via my dead mate jaypsc and believe they are bb type, but as they were secondhand and done supposedly 3k i had em stripped and inspected, and have decided to have the 360 degree cartridges fitted, question1,,is there likely to be any different spool up time is just the usa that prefer bb versus 360 and why? as my very experienced turbo specialist prefers 360 as being bullit proof but is that at a loss of performance?? rich

  18. its very simple all you need is a vacuum supply from anywhere on the plenum and 12v from light circuit for the back light
  19. i wouldn't have thought adjustable cam gears would make any difference to noise level,they are for setting cam timing spot on, as with normal pulleys you can set timing withing 1 tooth only so the noise must either be the cam pulley springs or something else making a noise.
  20. and watch the ambient temp sensor in the aiflow meter go pop, :nelson: ur better off spraying after maf ,,as said above through the throttle body .. :D
  21. very much doubt it, you could unplug the o2 sensors and they car wouldn't miss fire, most likely be a sparkplug or connector on coil pack or injector connector, also ptu connection rich
  22. i bought some xs ones as i got em in bulk buy for some other mates, loud as fook but i'm beginning to get pissed of with them gonna take em off when i get a good set of recircs as they oare doing my head in
  23. looks lush and I like the colour as well it suits the car rich
