it all depends on what after market bits you have if its stock its not worth alot even manual, infact the manual box is probably only part worth owt if engine is gooses or interior richard

you can put the best tyres on in the world( ive got conti) and the zed is still sh**e in the wet, the only cure is.............racelogic traction control ur zed will never feel as safe in any condition

yup i paid £900 for the set up but with all the sensors and dual wideband which all bumps up the price 3 month old in the box, now i could do with finding out somebody who has installed one before, but gonna start tomorrow get ready let the fun begin lmfao richard

whats the stock bose system like is it any good, as i've got bose speakers in my house which are ace , and noticed the j spec system is bose,,, but never compared it to uk version as uk is cack, richard

1 would just like to thank the 300zx forum members/club for their support and donation to jaypsc funeral, his mother was overwhelmed by the flowers and tributes offered, having spent the last 2 days at his house and seeying and meeting his closest friends I feel its been an honour to have know this man and look upon our conversations with laughter as thats what he would have liked, the funeral went as good as could be and definately wasn't conventional as jay was special, I hope people don't forget this talented young man as he will be sorely missed on several forums.....RIP JAYPSC.....the end of legend in his own right...

payement sent including charges , also Jay will be cremated and I think something linked with cars would be apropriate as he lived for cars, as for his death the autopsy didn't show anything ... so it looks like natural causes.....

A little bit about jay for those who did'nt know him too well One of the most endearing parts of Jay was his ability to live life to the full .,, he worked like a dog and partied with the best of em ,I know loads of people but i have never met anybody so genuine ; what you see is what you get type of guy.one of the first conversations with him back in 2001 when I got mi zed he was the first person to go out of his way to help me , even ended up him ordering me several hundred pounds worth of parts from usa and sent em to me before i had even paid him,,,, how many people would do that??? it took nearly 2 yrs before I met him in person but felt like I had known him all mi life .he will be a big loss to this club as well because he was very intelligent and made electronics look like childs play infact there was nothing he couldn't sus out, apart from why ZED's were a b***ard to work on lol chip burning/aem set up etc/rltc/ I could write on for ever with his capers but i suppose its one way for me to deal with his departing.. even now in heaven he'll be collecting cars ripping them to bits with mods. rich

Zena....... me and max will miss him dearly and he will never be forgotten you can be sure of that. I know we were going to meet up next week but never did I expect it to be in these circumstances..... our thoughts are with you and joyce and family rich & max

Steve, i agree with what you say entirely i've been away for the weekend with my family, and have been distraught all weekend wonder why/how etc i just got back now and I still can't get my head around it .he will be missed for sure i've always classed him as one of my best friends and he cannot be replaced, I keep looking at mi phone thinking its strange as he's always ringing me or txting i'll be making the trip down for his funeral after i've spoken to him mum, richard

I will be talking to his mum tomorrow and try to find out the details etc, but i'm away on holiday for a few days as well,,,,,,don't feel like going now, me and jay have had a good few laughs over the years and usually talk or txt nearly every day,,,,,,gonna seem strange not getting any txt from him with some more hair brained ideas he kept getting ......or buying cars for the fun factor

I have been trying to get hold of him today after speaking to him yesterday finally got hold of his mum who says they have found him dead in his garage,.. don't know the circumstance yet............I,m gutted he was a top guy and my best friend i'll miss him dearly .....my condolenses to his family & girlfriend Zena who are totally distraught . rest in peace jay dude you will never be forgotten by me and a lot of your friends. :cry: :shock: :shock: :cry:

had the same problem with my gearbox when i rebuilt it with every bearing replaced, and had to press the bearings in, end float was back at th same point as old shims but i DARN'T put any more pressure on so i got chatter fom gears on idle afterwards, got pissed off and bought a low mileage box 33k on..........guess what still had some chatter, seems to be std on these shite boxes like 2nd gear snatches even with brand new synco and baulk rings ffs which I also fitted, but that was before fitting dextron2 oil which made it a hell of a lot better after dumping that overated mt90 tractor oil from the yanks at £75 quid. lol

just done that and p;c keeps going to restart page ???? windows wont come up any idea??
