  1. yep just got caught in it driving round weston, bridgewater way. Main road by bristol airport was flodded and nobody could pass. luckily owning a freaky french xantia i jacked up the suspension to max and drove thru fine lol
  2. OE rad cap deffo the best ive had, problem with aftermarket ones it they raise the pressure in the system and any semi weak water hose goes shortly after, from my experience though .
  3. got all my HICAS arm and joints from Mike Feeney at MJP a lot cheaper than Nissan
  4. well it was advertised with shagged suspension, spoke to the bloke who knew nowt about cars and he said it had no give over bumps. having owned a xantia for 4 years ive jad the smae problem with mine and fixed it, basically its the spheres gone which is a 1 hour max job, very simple. good think is with xantia as everybody steers away from them because of the weird suspension, but its far easy to fix than a normal car and cheaper.
  5. Well in the time my wife has had the same M reg TD Citroen Xantia ive had the following cars. Porsche 924 Porsche 944 BMW 740i My Zed 3 Vauhall Carltons and 2 Vauxhall Senators Well her car has now hit 180,000 miles and so it time for me to actually buy her a car. Well She said she wanted another Xantia as she loves em and its been fine for us, plus i can now pretty much do most jobs to em. So I brought her a newer Xantia, but in typical Marcus fashion I went for the 2.0 Turbo Petrol Version this time and not the gay diesel :) Not bad for 500 quid with Tax and Mot, Air con that works and its the Activa Model, apparently the highest corner taking, g pulling FWD production car ever built
