  3. lol yeh i remember si making a big deal about keeping his car stock LOL. Anyway anna your pink car looks far better now than when it was white. Plus the kit looks better than when it was on PJ's black, blue, silver, yellow, red one.
  4. maybe you were just driving on her side of the road.
  5. cant PM as ure a registered user now siraf lol. I have the afm in my garage as i currently have 2 zeds. one un broken being broken and one broken being fixed :) yep weird logic for ya. as him if he want an HKS filter attached to it for an extra 60 squids :)
  6. got mine from ebay usa
  7. they are std rads. if you want a decent rad then the best bet is the all aluminium Koyo.
  8. Torque converter is std i think, no idea what been done to the box as i never got it done. not sure if it was MAC1 that had the box rebuilt origionaly or somebody before him. Deffo a far superior box to the STD auto, kicks up and down so quick and seem to love being driven hard.
  9. 500.00 with torque converter.
  10. The Fast Road Box im seling is MAC1's old one :)
  11. You finished painting your misses car now?
  12. still have lots todo though. Goto fit PCV's to my Zed, fix water hose leak. Finish fixing suspension on wifes car finish bodywork on Senator its never ending. lol
  13. It may have only been me though getting crap service from this company, though reading some of the other posts on them i guess not lol
  14. Man ive been busy this weekend working on my cars lol . Installed New Brake Pads on wifes Xantia . Investigated suspension problem on wifes xantia bought new spheres and then broke strap wrench trying to remove old one DOH . Re installed my Snooper into my Zed, in a better position and connected it to ignition live and not constant live as before. . Installed new Speedo cluster onto my zed (yay now i have a working speedo) . Adjusted idle on zed (harder than it sounds as mine can only be done with the battery removed) . Grinded down the rear wheel arch on my ex police senator . Washed my zed and wifes xantia . Put my grey old senator on ebay Now im gonna sit down and watch crap on tv
  15. Well ive used most of the traders on this site and ones no longer with us. Overall they have all been very good, 2 i would never use again though. 1. Has the worst aftersales service i have ever known and still hasnt finished a job on my car from 18 months ago i think. and the other i just dont like. Apart from that ive had great service from all the other traders.
  16. Not the zed though id say the gearboxes, brakes and suspension were are under-engineered.
  17. Legrath i admit i have a soft spot for 944's probally as when i was a school i said ill own a porsche by the time i was 30 and the laughed, but i managed to own 2 lol. i loved my 944 it just didnt have the power, i was gonna get a 944 turbo but i wanted a v engine. i nealt purchased a 928 but it fell though and now a i got a zed :). After 2 years plus owning my zed im now starting to like it.
  18. PS who like my new sig cool isnt it lol
  19. remember not to nearly hit the barrier this year eh royal lol and tell the skyline owners not to park on the hay.
  20. Big difference between 924 and 944. the 944 was based on the very sought after 924 carrera gt with the wide arches but they were slightly restyled. The 944 has a porsche engine and the 924 had a VW one. The 944 had a restyled interior to remove the VW ness in about 1986. There are 2 944 turbo engines the earlier 220bhp and the later 250bhp. Yes i admit they are now looking dated especially the rear end, the zed looks far better. my biggest grip were the fact they they are 4 pots and i wanted a 6 pot :). I owned a 1983 944 for 2 years prior to my zed which was 20 years old and it never had a problem. My zed which is 7 years younger lower milage, has unfortunatley not been very reliable. Join the 944 forum and you dont get nowhere near as many problem posts as you do here, so i guess they are still very reliable.
  21. Did you see how much they paid?, buy a zed for the same money and see how far it gets.
  22. Thats a joke right lol. 944's are very relaible, porsche engines are pretty bullet proof, ohh apart from the 944S 16v which was a crap engine.
  23. Eh what are you on about Dave. The 944 is STILL rated as one of the best handling cars ever produced, it can keep with and possibly beat a stock 300zx TT, yes it has ONLY 250 bhp but its lighter and more nimble than a zed, bit like a RX7. 968 is a different car as it comparable with the NA 300zx not the TT. The 968 Turbo S which is as rare as hens teeth is something special.
