  8. it comes down to all responsible people having to arm themselves......................with camcorders and ASBO's I'm afraid to say....i wish we could let kids be kids....but its true to say some adults are hell-bent making them little adults with no fear of consequenses....its a simple fact it you think there is a good chance of being caught you wont do it...if there is no chance or you get away with it every night there is going to little fear in those little minds....old bill sitting behind a camera monitor doesnt equal old bill plodding the streets

  10. haha...nope i told him he was knocking on the wrong door...that cat in the window was next doors...it was debatable as to drink being the issue here...more like H or its prescribed subtitute...Brighton is now the capital of drug death in Europe...1 a week now just from H...and people still think this is a cool city to come and live in...they are in for a shock

  12. just a few mins back the door bell went and there stood on my step is a half cut-half wit with a santa hat on... who proceeded to tell me i'd better let my cat out or else :nono: ....unfcukingbelievable.... :xxx: still what shocks me is i'm not shocked anymore it just seems to be part of Brightons colourful tapestry being challenged by these peoples behaviour on a daily baisis....anyway rant over
  13. brighton does have a cruise every November...trouble is your motor has to be over 100 years old..:)

  15. http://www.highways.gov.uk/trafficinfo/plan_js.htm great updated site helps plan those nightmares if you aint got traffic master etc...unusual for the govt...they have actually done something worthwhile for the motorist for once...i esp like the 24hr animatronic feature...thought it would be of interest to you all
  16. ok my boiling up prob is related to an air-lock which got in the matrix...thus causing the cold air no matter how high the setting....as the coolant soaked up the heat the air bubble got compressed to the point it burst forth into the expansion bottle when i parked up....anyway careful refilling when parking the car on a upwards facing slope got rid and now i have lots of lovely heat from the matrix and no boil overs...thanks for the link Eric great stuff on there..should be in the FAQ's that one if not already

  22. remove the old jap spec bulb and you are left with a dangling connecting block into which you must connect your new bulb...get a 453 (halfords) bulb or the blue type/higher wattage equivilent...you will see they only come with a positive wire this pushes easily into the positive part of the dangling connector do this now... ok your 1/2 way there...so next get yourself an old household plug...remove the terminal bit in the plug...this the bit which the live wire screws into it also holds one end of the fuse holder not the pins which push into a socket in the wall...this little bit is going to become your new negative connector for your bulb...you should have a bit of a plug in your hands now with a bit for screwing in a wire and a bit which originally held one end of a fuse ...cut a short piece of wire (insulated obviously) strip both ends....screw one end into the terminal bit you got out of your old plug...then taking your new bulb push the fuse holder bit/legs directly onto the metal end of the bulb you may have to bend the legs of the fuse holder in a bit to get a tight fit take care not to touch the glass end of the bulb as your finger marks could blow your new bulb...then with the other end of the wire push into the headlamp connector with a flat blade screwdriver...tape over with insulating tape...put the bulb back in...job done
  23. is that what you call one of them new organic houses i been hearing about
  24. FAO James300 you still got the rad cap?...i saw on another thread you had a spare after replacing with a nismo one...i would like to try another incase my cap is causing boil overs/overheating...send an email if you have....cheers
  25. had a long run into London last week took 3 hrs...used the air con a fair bit and the heater not that it got hot...it blew a lot of cold air even when set to 40....when i parked up the car boiled over from down by the expansion resevior bottle...i topped the car up with coolant and water a few hours later and ran back home no problem...but didnt use the heating/air con that time....do you think its connected or was it an air lock or dodgy rad cap?
