  1. if advertised as a good runner then it clearly wasnt fit for purpose....not sold as seen which is the usual catch all phrase...you could sue via a small claim using the ad as evidence include any mechanic reports quotes or bills with dates on them...it depends on a lot so i cant be deffo you'd win....buyer beware is true in most cases like this but it would seem the ad was misleading to say the least...check with trading standards for more advice/opinion
  2. with regards to a few recent threads about difficulties in paying for spares and/or not getting paid in return i'm willing to give free advice about how to resolve these issues as i have a debt collection/adjustment license and experience in negotiating debt/payment issues so i'll dole it out to any members who want to get in touch but not via the forum boards as its not the place...email me first cheers chris
  3. i operate client accounts for hundreds of people/third parties, i could consider accepting buyers funds by ACT into our client account or cash deposited at the post office then inform the seller to send the goods...when goods are recieved then forward payment to the seller by cheque or bacs into sellers account, if the goods wernt sent/arrived payment could be returned to the buyer no problem...simple and cheap @£1 all in for any amount of money handled...proofs or deposits and reciepts not a problem if all sides agree i can set this up pretty quick couple of docs to be sent etc... we have been recognised by all major banks/credit co's etc for third party repayments for years now
  4. lol...just beat you to it there Andy...:)
  5. lol you should have been concentrating on the road not her head....;) (in jest) my pet hate is the careful sunday driver type...esp in the country lanes who do 50 for miles an miles then as they approach a village with a 40 limit go right through it doing 50...!!!

ahh i saw you guys 6/7 zeds counted i think on the horsham by-pass @2.30pm looked nice i was in the mpv...yep you was right about the road being closed (Maderia Drive) i was guessing that hoards of bikers revvin away down by St Peters church were probably gonna put paid to your car parking...i was going to come along but my eldest daughters birthday was in full swing so no time
  13. i was coming home from Hastings yesterday and joined the A27 by Lewes...nice section of dual carriage all the way to Worthing...with a group of speed freaks all together there was 6 of us trying to outgun each other for around 10-12 miles My stock 300 AC Cobra...not a kit but the real mcoy! New Crossfire XJR XKR Audi TT Made quite a nice end to the day as after the Cobra peeled off i got the better of the Jags, the Audi and Crossfire weren't even close...the cobra made some serious noise...even at +100 with my lids off and the wind screaming he was roaring over the top of that...at one point he did a huge flame almost singed the badge on my bonnet...in return my tubs were whistling like a thousand kettles..:)
  14. maybe the man thought he was Travelling Without Moving :)
  15. there is a good chance more zed owners will end up bald if this nice weather keeps up as the lids off and speeding about does tend to pull on the folicles a bit
  16. whats the route to the coast your taking?... as i know too well the nightmare most folks endure getting down here for the day

  20. QUOTE]Would love to hear tips on coping with the stress and frustration and finance issues to be a little more constructive i would say kids get more expensive as they get older, girls are harder to buy for, boys are fussier eaters, when you've had 2 you might as well have 10 (as you live to the youngest one's needs) if they aint sleeping try stuffing them with food (dont bother sticking to the amounts on the baby milk boxes just give as much as they want) a full baby will sleep through most things even a wet/dirty nappy but a hungry one will probably cry off to sleep but then be up before you know it...as to finances...get in touch if you want a chat...i wont lend you anything mind...but all debts, bills and demands can be adjusted...i should know seeing as im a debt adjuster/advisor...:)
  21. 4 in total (2 of each) all under 10 :)

  24. dont list them...in fact they tend to say dont touch any imports..typical parkers we're in the pocket of the motor co's rubbish...i mean what are they saying...that overseas owners dont take care of their cars or have garages or bother to fix things when they go wrong...daft when you think of it
