Olympics to cost £9,200,000,000!!!!!!
i think the original fig is still sub >£3bn for the games...the rest is taken up by redevelopment....they covered it in a fair amount of detail on radio 4 these last few mornings...they are no great fan of the labour govt but even they thought the figures being reported were being manipulated a lot and included things that wern't sport.... didnt hear the lottery being mentioned...they do have sport as part of their remit so wouldnt be overly surprised to see it featuring somewhere on the balance sheet

you can relax most of that is money for regeneration of tht greenwich penninsular...housing, schools, transport links etc...got nothing to do with sport....but the press are whipping / spinning it up as if its 100% sport

problem with heater
sciency bit....your water wont boil at 100c when under pressure...even more so with coolant added...so no worries there...the flow or rather the convection is crucial to aviod hotspots...the pump just mixes things up a little...the main flow is done by cooling/rad/fan....a really well flushed system is the best starting point...but dont just blast your rad out with a hose as you can jam bits into the fine water channels...there is a link on here about all things cooling...cant find it right now

problem with heater
matrix is classic for air locks...im sure tony checked it was still connected up a few weeks back...that said if the pipes are folding because they are too soft or pinched as they are the wrong length that could do it too...happened on my zed someone had replaced the pipe with an odd length which was pinching off the flow

Targa Seal
i fixed mine...with araldite glue...they've never leaked since you need to lift the rubbers right next to the roof drain holes...targas off of course...run a good bead of strong expoy resin under it and up the sides slightly....put the roof back on and job done...:)
