it is the middle pin...but just a thought is your meter calibrated...try metering a 5 volt line on your PC etc as a test...could be just the meter is reading wrong

same happended to me a couple of years back...a mad pikey in a 4x4...he carved up several cars and i took a leaf out of his book and undertook him when i got the opp...he went nuts...he drove onto the hard sholder to get past me...he then stopped the whole 2 lanes of the dual carriageway to get out and tell me he was gonna f me up etc....i pointed out there was a traffic jam ahead and there was no escape because (i called his bluff here) i said he had no tax or insurance i'll call the cops right now and you'll get busted...he gave some more verbal and left it at that

lots of dj's like the ease of cd's (light to carry around) but love the feel of vinal....hence a number of them now cut their own vinals from cd's/mp3's with fairly inexpensive machines and blank 12" dics....there is a body of evidence now that cd's are getting worse because companies are making them too loud...see here...import vinal was the best and most sought after as it was made with much heavier weight vinal and so gave a better/deeper groove for the stylus...so a more well rounded sound was the result...how do i know this even though i dont dj ? basically i spent too much time listening to my pal john saunderson who was the manager of disco mix club and owners of the world mixing championships :D DMC

i got an 0870 for free off some telcom company ages ago...basically if my total 0870 callers dont hit a certain level i dont get anything...and to date guess what i've had nothing...still its useful as i give it to all the banks and govt dept's as my contact number...mud in the eye so to speak :D

been using that site for years...:D its fair to say most home phone contracts today have free local or national non-geographic calls 01/020/etc so dialling 0870 / 0845 is a waste of money when if you can find the non-geographic you can call them for free...govt helplines are the worst see inland rev or DVLA etc
