  1. my bro in law has to wear a gumshield to sleep because of this prob....not a cure but sure stops the busted teeth
  2. recently i have noticed a metal like tinkling almost ringing at times....noticible when car is not moving (ticking over) but also heard when driving at a constant speed...coming from drivers side...been through a list of possibles such as heat shields, loose trim, and brakes etc.....? sussed it today...my new steel bottle opener keyring rubbing against the other keys... :wack: :D :headvswal
  3. jd...GREAT STUFF....almost was the ruin of me when i was younger...i used to sip the import version it had a slightly higher ABV @ 43% instead of the usual 40%...strange why it should be higher but still tasted the same old nasty sour mash...did you ever seen the 1000 litre t-shirts they did?...you have to drink 1000 bottles send in the lables and get on the role of honour...mad...i reckon keith richards did it 3 times over :D
  4. not really with proper coolant mix and being under pressure 1.2 bar its not actually boiling...if you're going to push your engine out of spec by upgrading / performance mods etc then yep get a bigger rad and faster fan...if not just keep regular servicing flushing and coolant changes etc
  5. IIRC not all connectors are connected if you get my drift...like if the air con has been removed..or cruise control ect...that said i'm sure there is a couple of others connected to nothing as well under my hood look on here and see if you can locate the connectors you're talking about

  7. there is some rubber restoring stuff on sale in halfrauds i was told it swells the old rubbers to make a better fit...some members on here use peanut oil....however i used araldite under the joins by the targa drain holes...worked a treat nice dry leg :)

  18. still got your undertray on? might have come loose / dropped off...also the fan operates at different speeds for different conditions and water temps so be safe check coolant and fan clutch operation...if the viscous fan clutch is fooked you can spin the fan more than 1 revolution ideally it shouldn't go more than 1/2 turn when spinning by hand
