  1. yeah i vouch for the cross breed too after having some pure breed spaniels (just like the TV prog fitting and seizures owing to the skull being too small)....we got a slovakian pointer (basically a weimaraner cross with a rough/wire hair pointer)...ok its a bigger dog but so mellow and easy going tough as nails.....dont bother with bitches...oh no they are quite frankly bitches and will fook your life up :D http://images.google.co.uk/images?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLG,GGLG:2006-15,GGLG:en&q=slovakian%20pointer&um=1&sa=N&tab=wi
  2. :hurl::rofl: stu you should try the trots mate...you get more time to get to the bathroom :D
  3. no worries....andy is well worth looking up especially as he is so local to you.... :D
  4. yes thats him...nice one stu so 300zxtt400bhp....if thetford isnt too far from you try calling andy he knows a lot about zeds...i reckon he's about 20 miles from whittington http://www.supercarparts.co.uk/
  5. maybe he should take it up to martyns place stu? :wack::x: that said hasnt that zed spares fella in thetford got a conzult etc...cant think of his name...used to trade on here
  6. its basically inline/behind the air filter...it meters the air that flows into the engine....you can see it in the last pic you took...the flat black square with a connector coming off it...i'd try fitting a spare / borrowed one off a member first before shelling out £100 (but so you know £100 is about the right price)....replace it with engine switched off...then fire her up
  7. http://www.zedworld.co.uk/ ;)
  8. well fitting a series 2 ptu cant do any harm thats for sure.....but its possible if you're running rough your maf is playing up ...maf's are a source of many zed problems...try pulling the maf connector off and reconnecting....or try another maf...maybe a local member will pop over and do a swap...its 2 min job....better still if anyone local has a conzult you can plug it into...honestly though i'd think a good service is best starting point...oil, filters, sparks, clean your throttle bodies, tps set up etc you'll learn a lot about the motor too as you do it.
  9. calling all road tax payers.....every wondered why large gangs of podgy blokes in yellow jackets seem to be doing f-all when you drive past them....and the same roads need digging up every few years? Millions of pounds of tax payers' money is being lost each year in road maintenance scams. A whistleblower has told us about one area where the contractor has charged a local authority for work that hasn’t been done and has billed for more materials than were used. The programme hears warnings that drivers are sitting in unnecessary traffic jams because substandard work has to be redone. :xxx: 5live Donal Macintyre investigated last night...listen to the prog here....http://www.bbc.co.uk/fivelive/programmes/donalmacintyre.shtml

  15. from the mouth of babes.....?
  16. nice motor a bizz friend of mine had one....high running costs....but faultless as a motor to drive 5 out of 5....eats pads n discs if i recall.....maranello 550 is worth a look...similar money more practical if there is such a thing for ferrari
  17. apprently not true....! make you own minds up http://www.boycottwatch.org/misc/starbucks3.htm "I also know that Starbucks coffee has been sent to soldiers as a thank-you for their service to our great country for a long time. Relatively few companies are actively engaged in sending items from home to our troops, and Starbucks as a company and their employees should be applauded for their action. "Therefore, when I read emails about Starbucks not giving something for free to a rescue worker and a complaint about it via email, I have to tell you that on a personal level that the claim is an insult to police officers, fire fighters, EMT's and paramedics. "Starbucks is a business, and they have every right to charge people for their products. Whoever started that rumor was not a real emergency service provider and should be ashamed for even claiming to be one." Fred Taub President, Boycott Watch
