So we're "allowed" to keep our pint
was unworkable in the first really....i remember a market trader who sold fabric was told he couldnt sell by the yard responded brilliantly by putting a large sign up which said "please note we sell fabric by the .89m" hello love how many yards would you like ? :D

Selling a Modified Z
they are such personal things zeds....i guess the current crop of owners get more out of ownership from doing up their own rather than taking a finished / sorted one like yours stu....as you say its nowhere near what you've spent....mind you i bet its not specific to zeds...i'm sure all sorts of jap car owners have similar issues when moving on

This isn't dyslexia. It's a sign of the times
i suspect the winning bidder will never get the stereo as the poor postie wont be able to read the address on the parcel :D ability to read and write is essential in the modern world but that said the boss of Berkley Homes (Mr Pidgely i think he is called) wasn't able to read and write but still managed to blag the company into being one of the UK's largest housebuilders...just think if he had he might have been the worlds largest by now :D

You're never gonna believe this..............
for your sake vijay i flippin well hope so or it gonna be the UK's most expensive soapbox go-kart.....:mac1:

stanstead protestors
i heard one guy on the radio equate the stansted protest to the suffragette movement...his point was direct action is required when all else fails...that is to say they are morally right to take action because the system has frustrated them and one day we'll thank them...errm trouble with that position is loads of factions and groups have been advocates of direct action down the ages and wanted to foster their particular opinion upon us or others....IRA, ALF, ETA, Brazillian Police Death Squads, Fascists, Khmer Rouge, Al Qaeda, Bosnia, Rwanda......i dont think i'll be thanking any of them to be honest

No boost
back to diagnostic...could the fella not just blank off the balance bar to see which tub is seized...or is it easier just to ram some cloth up the tailpipe and force the pressure down one side / tub?

super kit cars
some are just for pootling about thats for sure....i did see some with scooby impreza engines though that said 7k or 12k is much better spent on one of these than a new beetle or VW....at least depreciation wont effect this kind of car....own and drive for a few years and'll it still sell for £7k-£12k
-

how much petrol left when light comes on?
an engineer i used to know said running the car on low fuel (regularly) will knacker your pump out...he said most of the fuel pumps he changed died because people had ran out of fuel....back to the original question i reckon anymore than 30 miles when light comes on is pushing it

is your licence still valid
2013 for me....and i just had a change of address done...why i wasnt given the option to supply a new photo at that point god knows because it would have been just as easy to do both at the same time...as the license states you are still licensed to drive in my case up to 2044 its just the card that goes out of date...then they want £17.50...mind you doesnt the passport expire every 10 years as well...that is even more money....trebles all round boys

Confession Time
everyone seems to go through phases of hating their zeds...but its the same for any car if you have them long enough...i guess your phase came early...i'd rather hate a zed then a mondeo :D
