2l gti monteago estate....no rad fan so overheated on a regular basis and the wheel fell off as the gator had perished so the drive shaft fell out...classic british junk....wasnt all bad...went like stink you could really rev that baby....gaffer tape was the order of the day i think i had a piece on every panel....hahaha :D

in my village there is a one man band garage with a good rep for general motor repairs, my nearside upper arm replacing so tues i enquired about the job and he said not too busy at the mo so booked me in for thursday basically i took the zed to him as i had the part but what with the bad/cold weather couldnt be doing with a driveway special this time...dropped the motor off he called @ 2hrs later said its all done for £49 he even drove the car back to my house...saved me grief, cold hands and i keep him from being another victim of the recession...everyones a winner :D anyone else starting to support the local business in these torrid times?

i'm glad he's not my boss...he sounds a bit depressed.....that said silver linings so i'd suggest a mangement buy-out to the employees :D

The pet, called Lassie, has ginger and white markings and a permanently closed left eye. It was taken from Old Ford Walk, Stourport-on-Severn. Thieves forced the wooden door of the first-floor flat open some time between Friday evening and Monday afternoon, police said. A games console, a television and half a bottle of milk were also taken - along with the hamster's cage. :D:mac1:
