How can this be allowed!!!????
some of these protesters are exercising the freedom they sure as hell wouldnt get in their country of origin...very hypocritical....but thats nothing new its just one of the benefits of living in a free country....i like seeing this kind of stuff and i try to embrace it as a sign we are a good place to live as the alternative is even more unpalatable

Tein coilovers
i take it they are 2nd hand......i suppose you could get a really heavy fat woman (or man) to sit on them and bounce a bit :D seriously though....look for evidence of fluid leaks or scores on the piston arms here's a guide i found Check shock absorbers and struts The simplest form of suspension test is known as a “bounce” test. Lean heavily on the fender or place your weight on a bumper. Release it suddenly and watch what happens. If the vehicle rebounds continually, you need to replace the shock absorbers. If the shock absorbers are performing well, the car will rebound once only, and then slowly return to its original position. While driving, the same test can be performed by stopping the vehicle suddenly from a very low speed. If the car “bounces” up and down a couple of times when coming to rest, you need to replace the shock absorbers. Visually inspect shock absorbers Visually inspect the shock absorber mounting points for security and corrosion and note any wet looking patches on the sides of the shock absorbers. This is a common indicator that the strut or shock absorber needs replacing because of a fluid leak. Check strut upper mounting Pay particular attention to the top strut mounting during the bounce test. Place your hand on top of the mounting during the bounce test. Any noise or movement in the mounting could indicate the need to replace the component. If you do feel movement, hear noise or see signs of leakage, report it to your supervisor. cheers

its a very odd advert....i've seen this zed in lewes...it actually looks well turned out from the roadside cant vouch for the performance claims...i was curious to go and have a look seeing as its only 5 min away but to be honest i didnt want to just go along and score points off the fella...not buying anyway so why waste his and my time- halfords mobil s
5 is plenty...you'll use @4l....just go easy an slow on filling...dont forget to prime the oil filter with oil first that will help with getting the right level....and dont listen to topless he's a spokesperson for the fully synth motor oil producers group :p - MOT Fail
hard to say mate.....from my experiance a lack of regular maintenance will often be the cause of emission fails....basics like sparks, air filters...bla bla....your car is it running stock? or has it been modded?- MOT Fail
the o2's are often broken on zeds but they don't fail your mot as you are not tested for lambda...or rather you shouldnt be tested....the z32 is a non-cat test....tell the mot centre to look in the MOT book they will see your zed isnt listed so they cant test for lambda...it doesnt matter even if your cats are still in...its still a non cat test cheers- Vijay Day
well.....whats happened...oh the suspense- Vijay Day
did you sleep last night mate....or was it like xmas eve and being 9 years old all over again?- Vijay Day

quick update paul from swz is fairly certain its the upper arm bushes based on my description of the movement...which is handy as i've got one in the garage- caliper movement
yes someone is watching from the curbside...after speaking with topless i'm thinking the tie rods are flexing...will try to spin the wheel with the car jacked up- caliper movement
i guess there is a small possibility of frozen bolt seems tight but isnt tight to the caliper face....that said i have tried moving the caliper in situ but wont budge hence my thoughts its further down the chain i.e arms etc...thanks for the link gary- caliper movement
you're telling me mate :D i reckon its a suspension arm / tie rod problem not the calpier bolts...buggered if i can see how though- caliper movement
its the caliper- caliper movement
bit of advice if anyone can, my offside caliper moves when breaking sharply, the caliper moves in the direction of the disc approx 5mm travel, once you let off the brake it goes back i've had the wheel off and can see nothing amiss or loose, even took the tie rod off to check for cracking but nothing wrong either any advice welcome regards chris - Koyo radiator stripped bleed screw flange.
