Well, a mate of mine has an MG ZT (the big, Rover 75 one), which is a 2.5l V6 developing 190bhp, and he only gets an estimated 19mpg. We worked mine out (twin turbo) to an average of 21.3mpg yesterday - he was GUTTED!!! Better looking, faster AND more economical than his - LOL!!!

9 months, still trying to sort out all the niggly problems with her, but it's all part of the fun ain't it!! As the sig says, it's only money.... I run a decatted TT, so I can't say for definite, but I have heard that an NA is VERY LOUD without the cats. With the TT, the turbos themselves do dampen the noise slightly by disturbing the airflow in the exhaust system, but on NA it'd just be engine/backbox/NOISE!! :eek:

Am trying to get my old band's album re-mastered onto CD, and wondered if anyone (preferably in the Midlands area) had the technology/know-how to do it for me. I ask for Midlands as I'm a bit reluctant to post the DAT, as it's the last remaining digital copy of our album, and it's worth too much to us to get lost in the post - forever!! Having said that, we no longer have ANY other copies of the CD!!! How lame is that!! So, if you've got the right kit, or if you've got a mate with a studio, please drop me a line on this thread, or PM me your details, and I'll get back to you. If all else fails, I will send it further afield to be done, so any details would be appreciated :). Cheerz.

I've always used 'Gunk' degreaser to get all the slimy/sticky stuff off. Wipe plenty on and leave it for a ten minutes, come back and just wipe it away. Probably best to give the whole area a good wash after (to get rid of any streaks), but it works for me ;).
