  2. Interior looks fairly stock....
  3. My wife wants me to buy it, but I think it's like an old girlfriend...you should never go back!:)
  4. That photo was taken on a trip to France with some Z Club members in 2000! It was great fun on the empty French roads, particularly blasting through the tunnels along side the river Lot!
  5. I know, it's NA Auto, which is all I need nowadays!....The wheels would be changed for something a little more sympathetic!
  6. This Z32 NA Convertible is for sale in Bristol. Is it known in the club?...I've been thinking about getting another 300ZX!
  7. Hi, That's my old Z32 NA that I bought in 2000 and sold to a lady in Berkshire in 2001, who has owned it till now! She had previously owned a Z31 Turbo which had become really rusty and she offered it to me for free! The Z32 has still got the cat free stainless exhausts that I had fitted by Luke at The Z Centre and my old gear knob too! Looks like the rear wing has been repainted a slightly darker shade as the original has obviously faded over time, but otherwise looks the same. I think it has been on a private plate all of these years, as I tried to find it on the DVLA site before, but it wasn't listed! I bought the car from a guy in Bristol, who had personally imported it to sell on. It had the usual "60k" miles on the clock when I bought it. The couple who bought it were well heeled and were going to keep it as a second or third weekend car. Cheerz, Jez.
  8. Mike Brewer is ok!....I sold him the floorings for his current house and he does like Z's! We used to chat about my 300ZX and cars in general.I have offered him a Z or ZX model if he needs one for one of his shows! Cheerz, Jez.
  9. Hi, As well as Z32's I've owned a couple of Z31's and he will be lucky to get more than a couple of grand for a Z31!....My old Z31 turbo was in better condition than that car (no rips, scratches, dents!) and it sold for a lot, lot less! The mk3 Supra was launched towards the end of the z31's production life and ended up competing with the early Z32 models! Cheerz, Jez
  10. The Z32 first appeared in the USA in February 1989 at the Chicago Auto Show and went on sale in April 1989.Japan didn't launch the home market Fairlady model until July 1989.
  11. There's another lowish mileage UK 300ZX on Car and Classic....The wheels don't look quite right though..... Concours 300zx 31000 genuine miles For Sale (1992) on Car And Classic UK
  12. Hi, Here's a copy of the dimensions from a 1987 road test......
  13. Nearly right!....230bhp Jap spec....when new!
  14. My last Z32 had the Nexens...they were fine in the dry and looked ok too!....In the wet however they weren't so good.It was easy to spin the wheels and get the rear end fishtailing in the wet with little provocation!....My car was an NA too! Cheerz, Jez.
  15. Nice to see a factory standard, unmolested car!....And a rust free UK car too! :D
  16. Hi, Just watch it again on-line at Demand 5....http://demand.five.tv/Episode.aspx?episodeBaseName=C5143730006
  17. My last Z32 NA had lowered suspension and handled really well. The aftermarket momo steering wheel helped too, as it felt like a go kart compared to some 300zx's i've driven!
  18. Hi, I never had anyone think that my Z32s were Knightrider cars, but my old black Z31 was nicknamed KITT by my wife!...It did have similar angular styling to the Pontiac and the pop-up headlamps too!
  19. Japanese market Z32 NA's originally had 230bhp as standard with 200ftlbs of torque. The US cars had 222bhp/198ftlbs... and you often see this quoted, or sometimes 225bhp, which was the power output of the Z31 turbo model! Most NAs for sale in this Country tend to be Japanse spec cars.I've owned a couple of NA mauals and they've both been great cars! Cheerz, Jez.
  20. THe JDM cars, which are what you generally find in the UK, were 230bhp as standard when new! Cheerz, Jez.
  21. Hi, I've copied the article about the white 300ZX that raced the 350z on Top Gear, onto the Z Club site..... http://www.zclub.net/gallery/data/500/topgearzx.jpg http://www.zclub.net/gallery/data/500/topgearzx2.jpg
  22. Sorry I meant Paul Willetts...Not Steve Willetts!....There's a feature on his car in the Spring 2005 Z Club Mag! Cheerz, Jez.
