Your base idle is a tiny bit high as well you need to see around 33% on the idle control vale bud . Daz D2

Vortex exhaust
There making the same kind of claims now. they recon An extra 15% in tourque and 20% bhp I have said to them i will dyno test one and based on the results decide on which way to go. But there claims are very bold i must say. Seems almost to good to be true .

Jimmer you clearly have an issue with me ! If so contact me direct . I have over 25 years on these cars.I was here when it all started years back.:) You dont know me.So why do you feel you have a right to slag me off on here? This is the difference with me you see.I inform my customers of issues etc advise them in the correct manor and give the best advise i feel is required at that time. Other wise i would be taking advantage of my position and could always spend thousands and thousands of my customers money on things on there car. which i dont always feel is required at that time and can be delt with if a problem becomes an issue. As damien has said he is happy with my work and what i have done for him. And as i have said on here before sometimes not all the facts are present when a post is made on here.And people can take the wrong view of things. And many comment just to try and big up there own agender Which i dont do. :)

Let's get one thing straight jammer. A car never leaves my workshop with an oh well let's see how it goes approach ! For the record the car was running on all six when it left the workshop. I have been in contact with my customer ever inch of the way with this car which I'm sure he is happy with .

wet carpet under the pedals
If its an auto you can do the matrix without removing most of the dash.not a nice job though. Best way is full removel of the dash and its not hard that way just takes a bit of time . a weekend if your not a mechanic mate should do it. if you did it yourself. daz d2

sounds like heater matrix mate. Its not a hard job just takes a while to do it . Is yours auto or man?

More poor quality work with pics
A good post . But i am not sure about the whole name and shame side of things. I see many many crazy jobs on z's come through d2 here and i always keep my name and shameing between me and my customer. Or it can end up a bit of a keyboard war between people etc. And somtimes the facts arnt always clear when a car is presented at the garage. And i have seen that tons of times. daz. D2

got no clutch!
Damien Remember you are using second hand parts here.And somtimes they need to settle in. As not all parts may have come from the same vehicle. And some niggles may appear. When i spoke to you the other day i did tell you or your mechanic what to look for and that a new adjustment may be required now and how to do it. I am pleased its back with a clutch again now. 92 300zx tt smoking when warmed up
Blue smoke is turbo's as well .

Centre prop bearing
Just undo the center nut mate and knock the carrier off the prop body. Check if there are knotchy feeling parts of the hook joints as well while the prop if off. regards daz D2

No welding required. the captive nuts are there. like jefftt i have also done dozens over the years. daz . d2

Ditto check connections. its normally the problem . Injector/coil pack / power trans.

turbo removal
I find the both sides not to bad to do . I don't remove the manifold on either side some modified spanners and if you drop the sub frame and inch just to the end of the threads safely it gives you a better angle on the tricky stud nuts and lock tabs . I did ring you back vodkashots but I had missed you at that point . Daz . D2

turbo water pipes removed !
Thanks for finding that topless. So the question is . What are the benifits of removing the water pipes etc from the turbo's? I cant see any other than causing future problems. So why remove them ?

I looked at the website as well. Its clear the water cooling is there for a reason. And removing the water will shorten the life of the turbo which ever way you look at it. There are no gains in doing the removel . only negatives as i see it. Daz D2
